I think it's amazing I only have one Satin Taupe so far.

Also, someone needs to teach a certain blogger that her affection for for pale, cool lip colours should not be indulged. They do not flatter her.

I will try on the lavender lipsticks upcoming. I am pasty and cool toned, so they will be quite different on me. We'll see.

up the amp is a deep purple pink and lavender whip is a light lilac. i have and love up the amp and so do a number of other woc it appears. i still plan on getting lavender whip or fashion mews. well most likely fashion mews since lw is perm.

Yea I know alot of people have it, I just wondered if it would look better on than LW. I have a pale purple called Martooni from a collection like 6-7 years ago. I guess I'll have to see it in person to see what I want. I'm totally cutting down on what I buy and if it's even remotely close then I ain't buyin'! Thanks!!

How is it anyone can take a picture with what looks like a sore on their lip? "looks like sin" was the perfect choice though, got to hand it to her! Even looks like someone spurted it all over her lips, niiice application... is she a professional, i mean make up artist.... not the other pro.

OK, so she said that it reminded her of Fun Fun l/s, so I grabbed my Fun Fun to get an idea as to what this might look like on me. Anyhow what I did after I applied the l/s was I dabbed some Lovely Lily pigment on top of it to make it more lavender & I got a very good idea what this might look like on me. *its not a dupe, but its definitely lavender* Anyone who has those l/s & pigments(or anything similar) will be able to get an idea of what they'll look like in the lavender colors(HK too) Might be helpful if you're buying online & want to experiment before purchasing

I knew Lavender Whip would just not be the right color for me. In MAC promo pics they all look appealing b/c of the photoshop but in reality they just dont come out looking that way.

And I know were are talking about T and her swatches but I think it is kind of rude to be talking about her in a bad manner, i.e. the spot on her lips? What does that have to do with anything? No one is perfect, everyone has imperfections. That is why we are ALL on a makeup forum.

Just my 2 cents =)

Personally, I cannot do lavendar lips to save my life. The only sort of violet toned lip product I have is Violet Glace lip gloss from Laura Mercier, and it only works well on me because it is so sheer - it just looks like a wonderful cool toned nude. Envy others who can pull off lavendar lips, it can be a very cool edgy look.

I am quite looking forward to this collection. I have a renewed interest in the glosses, even if they are sheer. I like, but don't love the regular lipglass (as in the texture), so I'm hoping to get a couple of these to use over lipstick.

I'll also be picking up Lavender Whip and Creme Cup through B2M. I agree that the lavender colour will be hard for many to pull off, but I think it's one of those colours that should be my collection, because I can see it looking beautiful when combined with the right gloss. I'm actually kinda excited, because I loooove the Cremesheen formula.
