To get (sort of) back on topic: Even though its's LE and a very unique color, I'm glad I *didn't* get more than one of Lavender Whip.
I just don't think I'll wear that sort of color very often.
If I do want something like it again, I think I'll try Up the Amp.
Anyone know how that one compares to Lavender Whip?

Ya know what I can't figure out... When they introduced Lush n Lilac liner, there were NO purple lipsticks in the permanent, and very few purple/lilac LE shades. No wonder it wasn't popular. So they discontinue it, then bring out 2 lavender lipsticks and a lavender lipglass all in the same month. Figures.

I have decided that even if it looks like dookie on me, I am going to B2M for Lavender Whip when my counter gets it. I know I will hate myself later when I can't get it.

They couldn't be more different. Up The Amp (

) is MUCH bolder, MORE purple-ish, and it gives me a sorta fuschia-purple lips look.

Lavender Whip is really pale and pinkish-lavender. It actually looks more pink than lavender to me, but maybe that's because I was expecting to see something more lavender.

I am sooooo peeved that my delivery got pushed to Monday because we got a bunch of snow.

UPS called the trucks back in and I didn't get my package. Effing ridiculous...they should make it up by delivering on Saturday.

I went back and got ever so rich, fashion scoop, creme angleis, and shy girl. WHOOT! I almost got all of them but I didn't. OH NO...I just realized that I forgot to get melt in your mouth. *sigh* I guess I have to go back.

Are these glosses very creamy, not as bad as the promo pic but you get the idea, because they look like a creamy mess to me judging from the swatches.

Also, has the cremesheen l/s formula changed from the first batch of cremesheens (which I found to be rather drying)?

I just bought that combo too. You'll love it. I really like SHy girl and Boy bait. Such a great nude lip and you can't beat the texture!

I think the main the reason I love these so much is because it's not shimmery. It is very natural and simple. I love simple things!

I love shimmer in my lip glosses. I just can't resist those damn sparkly particles, with blue glitter being my ultimate weakness.

I agree... I love c/gs and d/gs for those reasons. I esp like the c/gs because I feel that they aren't as sticky too and they do give me enough color so they don't completely hide the lipcolor underneath. I am a little sad about how expensive they are but oh well, I really like them just for those reasons that I listed.

I totally agree. I wish they weren't expensive either and that they were perm.
