im wondering, is creme in your coffee similar to twig l/s? i had twig but swapped it away cos it was too dry and too matte...although i like how it looks on my lips when its sheered out cos its a slightly deep pink brown. anyone know if creme in your coffe might be the twig-but-better? ty!

I would think it's more similar to Capricious than Twig.

I love Prep + Prime for lips but I don't find that it helps much with the staying power. It just makes my lips smooth and soft and the l/s show up nicely over it.

The only product I found that seriously helps my lipstick to stay put for hours and hours is Guerlain Kisskiss Liplift

It also evens out my lip color and makes anything I put on top of it POP!

Sigh, maybe I should stop myself from buying any more stuff till I hit pan on something, huh?

Well, I've been an addict for almost a year now, and Blanc Type is the only thing I've hit pan in! I haven't had it for that entire year, either, oh no! But, one I found it, it was love.

Can someone explain to me the love of Vanilla eyeshadow? I just don't get it! I think it's an utter piece of crap because the payoff and blendability suck. Blanc Type has a similar colour, but is smooth and delivers colour beautifully! I've just never understood.

Vanilla e/s is nearly my skintone. I love to use it under my brows as a matte highlighter (I love shimmer on the lid

so a matte highlighter is good if I don't want to look like a disco ball...). Moreover it is the perfect blending colour for me.The only other highlight colour I use is Nylon, no Shroom or Ricepaper or what is still there.

I have to admit, I quite like Blanc Type---<3!~ Susanne, I too love shimmer on the lid, so I use this matte2 one as a highlight and blend it down a bit, and it just makes a fantastic transition, smooth, creamy. AHHH! It and Grain fight for my attention (some may find it strange, but I like grain for a neutral not shimmery highlight)

i am curious about seeing vanilla in person! Its interesting, sometimes some people really love something but others hate *cough* Nanogold *cough*

I love Vanilla e/s. It is a bit lighter than my skintone, so I use it alot on my lids from lashes to brow, and then put color in the crease. I have had mine since May of last year, and it's nearly gone. I use it almost every day. I don't have Blanc Type, but it's on my list to get eventually. Maybe when I use up my Vanilla.

Oh and my other lover Spring Up e/s that I cannot find anywhere *sighs* Totally OT but has anyone ever had good luck with the Gone but not forgotten program? I'm still patiently waiting

I have no highlighter but Femme-Fi so maybe I'll have to check out Vanilla and Blanc Type. And I finally got my HK fix so now going to re-check Creme Team again. So excited. I totally skipped HK lippies just for Creme Team.

i think vanilla works really well... but only for a highlight. i use it only to blend out that line of color that i otherwise would have if i used a darker, shimmerier lid color...

yea i get a lot of joy from hitting pan too! i don't depot, so all of my empties are things that i have used up... and i am currently going at the rate of about 1 b2m per year... it usually includes two lipglosses, two brush cleansers, and two larger, longer lasting products... go me!

One does NOT need to own both Vanilla and Blanc Type if you ask me. Both will work as a matte highlight and to help blend out harsh lines, but Blanc Type also has enough payoff that you can use it on the lid.

I totally forgot about the cleanser being b2m, I just went and washed some brushes when I saw color's post.

It's funny, I had one of the main MAs at my local MAC tell me not to bother with the brush cleanser (which was fine by me, because I had no intentions of doing so anyway!).

I have to say that this collection is one of the collections that I'm not interested at all! I'm not much of a lipstick gal and not interested in the glosses since thay have to little product and pay a lot more that norm l/g. And we aren't even getting this collection in Finland..

So I've managed to reduce my lemming to 2 items - Lavender Whip and one c/g (Partial to Pink or Creme Anglaise). Sigh. Do I need L/W if I'm intending to get Fashion Mews? I actually think Fashion Mews looks a lot prettier, judging from the swatches. Hopefully I get to compare them IRL when HK launches here in a month's time.
