MAC - Creme Team Discussion

My counter finally got this collection so I went to check it out. I used a set of empties to B2M for Lavender Whip. Definately want Creme Cup though, as elegant-one said I would

I like the glosses, but I think I have reduced my wish list to only Ever so Rich and Fashion Scoop. The others are very pretty, but not colors I would wear often enough to warrant spending $18 on them. Petite Indulgence is a gorgeous pink, but I tried it on, and it's pretty bright for my tastes. They feel great on

They just put out this display yesterday, and it got no attention. The HK display was packed though. Surprise.

Lavender Whip and Fashion Mews are distinctly different, but unless you're addicted to lavender/purple/'weird' lip colours, chances are you don't need both.

sorry to drift this thread back to hitting the pan, I like hitting the pan even if it is an LE, then I can try out perm stuff that I have been lemming to try out because I figured that MAC will always come up with new stuff anyways which will eventually replace our HGs so I might as well finish some and see what else is out there, and it really helps my wallet feel better too...
and here's a pic of some of my "hitting the pan" e/s (some are pressed piggies):

and to keep this thread related: I like my c/gs and lickable and shy girl c/s, that is all

Sigh... I just thought I must get Blanc Type now

But I will go on with my love for Vanilla

wow, i already have capricious, it looks more berryish than creme in your coffee to me? creme in your coffee kinda seemed rather brown..so thats why i thought of twig. anyone has any comments?

also to add on to the blanc type/vanilla discussion, i actually have and love both. i think they're basically the same e/s, its just whether you prefer the formula of blanc type of vanilla. i have both, and im just treating blanc type as my backup for vanilla for when i eventually hit pan

^^^Creme in your coffee was just a plain ol brown. I'll have to check to be sure, but twig is probably close, maybe a little darker & just slightly plumier than CIYC

I just got Petite Indulgence today and OMG it is really beautiful. This is my new favorite glass. It is the perfect pink. It reminds me of Angel Cream plushglass, but way better.

Here is a picture of lavender whip and Viva Glam VI SE lipglass on me. I have NW15 skin btw. I really really like the two colors together!

where has this lipstick been my entire life? seriously. who would have thought that a lavender lipstick could be so wearable and look so beautiful on. i really love it, so much so, that the thought of not having it in the future terrifies me

very characteristic of a mac addict. i hope they restock it on the website and send me my backorder otherwise i may go to the store and get it myself, and inevitably be tempted by other things.

Can someone explain to me the love of Vanilla eyeshadow? I just don't get it! I think it's an utter piece of crap because the payoff and blendability suck. Blanc Type has a similar colour, but is smooth and delivers colour beautifully! I've just never understood.

I love Vanilla, I've been using it forever, been through at least 5/6 pans. I use it almost everyday as a base on my lids, it just brightens my eyes and makes other colors cling. I don't have a problem with blending or applying, I use my fingers or a brush. You know how it is though, one persons junk is anothers treasure!
I don't have blanc type, I have to check it out. Is it very white?

Twig is plumier as Elegant mentioned. I prefer Twig but you didn't like the texture?

Yeah I'm addicted to weird lip colors. Especially purply stuff.

After a good night's sleep, I feel less inclined to buy L/W though.

Now, let's see if I can fight the urge to get a c/g. Then it'll be the first time I'm passing an entire collection.

Capricious is just a tad more berry-ish. I swatched them both on my hand to compare. There is browness in CIYC, so it will make you look older, but it changes to a slightly more pinkish hue shortly after putting it on my lips. Nice color, but I figured I can tweak my Capricious to make it look similar, so I'm passing this lippie.

Did anyone buy Spice Is Nice l/s? It looks like an interesting color.

I went back to check out Temptalia's blog because I wanted to see lip swatches, and she mentioned that Looks Like Sin is the bleeder among the c/g. True, or not?

Since I'm so in love with Strayin' from HK, I'm fighting the urge to run out and get Lickable just to change things up a bit. At least I know it's perm!!

it was too brown for me, not a unique color or one that I would wear.

Maybe it would work for you though...

I will have to try it out the next time I visit MAC then.

I'm still finding it hard to resist L/W and the c/g.
