I think both Tish and Ernie are traumatized by Straying, yeah? I shall not even bother to look at it, to save me some psychological distress. I don't even like frosty lipsticks to begin with, most look awful on me.

The formula, idk, why do I find it drying while mature lips don't? Does that mean young lips have less moisture in them than mature ones?
hmm.gif

Stay away from Strayin, that's all I'm saying.

I would assume mature lips have less moisture than young lips, no?

I do think so too, but then it doesn't make sense why young lips aren't suited for these c/s while mature lips are.

Anyhow, maybe it's just my fussy lips not liking this formula. Yes m'am, I will stay the hell away from Strayin.

Yeah and I'm sure weather and climate conditions have a lot to do with it too..and the fact that I have to force myself to drink water

I guess only my face is somewhat protected from drying out, because the oilies are constantly keeping it under wraps.

to some extent. I don't like brush applicators for very viscous glosses like lipglass. The brush applicator will deposit too much gloss on my lips and it gets messy. However, since Cremesheen glasses are not as viscous, I do think they should be brush applicators.

My lips are very dry. It could be the climate.

It just cracked!

I like the brushes because basically they are easier to clean...with the sponge applicator...it seems even if you clean them you are still putting color back into the tube if you put the gloss on top of a lipstick....the sponge just soaks up color. Not to mention the brush is more like a actual lip brush giving you a better more even finish overall than the sponge does. IMHO anyway

Honestly I would not make a blanket statement like that about the Cremesheen lipsticks. I've tried quite a few of them and find that the texture really varies from shade to shade. For example (on my older lips) Creme d'Nude is very dry, while Modesty is really creamy.

Hmm, I will have to try that. Sounds beautiful! Thanks for the suggestion.

I have them both I will swatch them for you when I go home tonight. Cream Cup is more pink and more pigmented (at least on my lips)

Could just be my monitor I guess, but it definitely don't look way too bright to me? But then again, I also LOVE Girl About Town.. so maybe that's it?

Oh Elaine, I love GAT too. But since Tish and Ernie are so terribly traumatized by Strayin, I've decided to give it a miss. My budget is pretty tight anyways.

Plus I hate most frosts, and Strayin IS a frost. I remember that you love frosts, so I figured they would look good on you.

The thing is though that, Strayin is a frost, it definitely does NOT feel like a frost or really wear like one. If you've seen any of my other FOTDs with frosts, they look frosty, but Strayin doesn't have that frosty sheen to it really. It's pretty moist and light on, it's not dry at all like most frosts. Since you like bright lippies, I would say give it a try, but if you are sticking to a budget, better to give it a miss then, for something you want more, since you might end up wanting Strayin!
