I'm still staying firm on just one c/g, Creme Anglaise. I'm not strong enough to cut it off my list.

My MA told me that Velvetella is LE. I don't know what's up with MAC, why is it LE here?

Will need to clarify with her later. Getting L/W soon! And then going to another counter to check out the HK display.

You all managed to convince me that I had to try Lavender Whip. Yesterday I went to get some more HK and decided to chance taking a look at LW. The MA was really sweet and even told me to try it with a liner, forgot which one and Ever So Rich. I tried it and surprisingly it looked really good on even though I am an NC40. The MA even said it worked nicely on me. I was still a little unsure about lavender but she said it was the fastest selling of the colors so I told her I'd take it. She thought they sold out but she managed to find one left. Woohoo! I got the last LW in store. I showed it to dh and he thought it looked like a nice pink lipstick. It's so strange but it really only had a hint of lavender on me. I already have Ever So Rich at home so it was perfect. And I just ordered a backup of Boy Bait because it is the perfect nude shade.

That's the thing that's weird though! I'm yellow-toned, but I LOVE frost shades. Like, super cool pinks and purples can look weird on me though, they really wash me out.. but I really love frosts, especially ones with gold frost. It's gorgeous with yellow undertones.

I came home with Lavender Whip and the last piece of Lush-n-Lilac l/l.

Call me a lucky biatch if you wish, I am just glad to get my hands on the last piece of gem.

Today must've been my lucky day.

^^ I do like B-Babe...I like Frost lipsticks that are not Frosty! There are a lot of Frost lippies that are not persay Frosty/Glittery if that makes sense...they just have a bit of a sparkle.....not metallic in appearance....For instance Out-To-Shock is one of my favs

My initial deductions were right. These are too sheer and I don't think the texture is so great that its worth the price. Me no likey these glosses- no way, no how

I prefer the gloss over l/s. Every So Rich over Lavender Whip and Boy Bait over Shy Girl are my faves.

Has anyone checked out (or own) the Sephora slim lip pencil in Pale Violet #139? I was looking for a lip liner to wear with LW and this one is only $5. I was hoping this would be a nice match.
