MAC Cult Favorites - April 17, 2014 (Permanent)

So, I decided to try on Sweet and Sour, since these are coming back. I was considering getting Sushi Kiss, and maybe even the light orange from the Osbourne collection. No lol. There's a reason I don't buy these types of colors. Here's S&S on me. I'm NC42:

Talk about a high maintenance color smh. It looked ok in the end, but it needed lots of liner and I had to pat it on, let it sit, apply a little more, smush lips, repeat, more than a few times. I ended up doing a full face with it because it just doesn't look good on me alone. Plus, I feel like it has to really match whatever I'm wearing, in this case, sage green. I had to pull my hair back, too. I mean, it's pretty, once I do all that, but geez. It does give me the pouty, pornstar lip look that I like sometimes lol. But, without all the extra, it's straight Tyrone Biggums.

Wow, that is so beautiful on you! I just bought Giddy, LipBlossom, Shy Shine and Fleur D'Coral. I looked at Shushi Kiss, but it was too orange for my N5 (at best) skin tone. It's possible they'll all look the same on me, but that is the exact color family that I know I'll wear. And, I'm in the minority here, but I actually like Lusters.

Just recieved Kinda Sexy! So beautiful! And I also got S&S the other day so beautiful but it applied so patchy!
