Glad I am not the only one that wonders about where the color description from mac comes from! They are way off on alot of stuff. And when it comes to the color swatches on the website, well that's a different forum topic altogether

LOL...My grammy had a yellow plum treee in her backyard ....we would eat them until we were sick....Not sure what MAC calls yellow plum color however..they have their own crazy color descriptions ...Some people call them Cherry Plums

wow! i'm so excited about these! plus knowing that there is more product than in a dazzleglass makes me think i may get 3 of them rather than 2. more value for money - and i love sparkles so much!

hmmm. let's see. yellow light + plum color light = hot pink color light. so i guess it does make sense... for engineers. no idea why mac would use this theory though. to my understanding, cosmetics company create colors using subtractive color mixing (like the way painters mix colors) instead addictive color mixing (like lighting engineers mix lights)

I didn't know you were an engineer too, engineer girls rock!

I'm very intrigued by these. I don't mind the sheerness of the dazzleglasses but I minded the lil quantity. There are a few of these ones that I absolutely love looking at

I am not a dazzleglass fan, not the product, but the price but for these with the increased product, I am so all over it.

i'm not a big fan of glitters on my lips, and i definitely didn't like the price for dazzleglasses, but one good thing about them is that they don't go bad as quickly. i don't know why but some of my lipglasses completely lose the vanilla smell and turn rancid after a couple of months even if they are never opened. all my dazzleglasses still smell great (although with daily use, a tube only lasts me about a month) even the ones i've opened and used since last year

ps: i'm a computer/electrical engineer

I love glitter on my lips, lol! I guess it depends where I'm going. I find dazzleglasses are amazing over lipsticks. My favourite lip combo ever is Rags to Riches dazzleglass over Blankety l/s.

I'm a mechanical engineer...not too many girls around me, lol

So, DH would totally get the yellow/plum light thing - he's an engineer, too (just don't ask me which kind). And no, there aren't any women work with him - you girls rock!!

^^That is soooo nowhere near what Creme Allure looks like. That "yellow plum" looks more "dusty rose". Thank goodness they went with hot pink instead of that color!!

If I didn't have so many regular dazzleglasses, I would for sure get a couple of these. They are slightly less tacky but with the same gorgeous glitter- they are not entirely tacky-less however; in fact I'd compare their texture to the regular lip glass. But I can't stand how tacky the reg d/g so any thing to help with that is a good thing!

my main reason for not buying anymore dazzleglasses is because oif the price! £14!

i expect these will also be £14 but with more product i feel better about spending that amount!
