My husband is giving me $100 for MAC for Mother's Day and he's going with me to the counter tomorrow to spend it!

I am hoping to get my hands on Baby Sparks and Bare Necessity. I think Rags to Riches is going to have to go back

I asked my husband to smell it this morning, and he said it smelled like sewage

The smell is getting worse I'm afraid. I am sad to return it though because I LOVE the color!

You know what I really like these? They don't break down the color underneath. When I put lipglass over lipstick sometime it causes the lipstick to separate. I hate that. Dazzleglass just sits on top of the color you place underneath. I also love that it adds a beautiful shine and that the glitter sparkles. You get a gorgeous glossy look and you only need to add a small amount in the center of your lips.

I know I want 1-2 more Dazzleglass, but beyond that, I am lost. I posted a thread in the Recommendations forum, hoping for some ideas! If you think of anything great, feel free to suggest!

Am I too late to join the Bimbo Club? Cuz I freakin' love my DGs... I have to stop myself from running out to buy more of them. I have Glamour OD, Date Night, Bare Necessity and Baby Sparks. I really wanted Rags to Riches, but with everyone chiming in on the nasty smell, I'll have to give it a pass. Still thinking about Love Alert and Pleasure Principle. Maybe Funtabulous and Steppin' Out, oh and that's right, Money Honey too.... ARRRRRRRRRRRRGH. Dang you MAC, why'd you have to make something this cool LE???

UGH! I am having such a hard time with this... I said a few posts above about my Rags to Riches stinkin'. Well, I am having such trouble because I LOVE how it looks on my lips. I put it on an hour ago to see if the smell transferred to my lips, and on my lips, I am just smelling/tasting vanilla. The only time I smell the stink is when I open the tube. I am torn because I don't want it to get worse and then not be able to return it at a later date. On the other hand, I use it often enough that it will be gone before too long. What should I do? For those of you with stinky ones, are you keeping or returning?

Eh let's just say that I definitely deserve to be in the bimbo club...mainly cause I am anyways.

That stinks about Rags to Riches well, stinking. It was not one of the ones I was lemming, and this just makes me glad that I wasn't. However I am finding it hard to resist getting backups of the 5 that I have. I am cutting my Neo Sci-Fi list just to accomodate more Dazzleglasses. That's how much I love them.

If you really love the color & it doesn't bother you , I would just keep it.

I'm hoping you get & like Bare Necessity. It was the most vanilla smelling & tasting one yet. I wore it today with a nude liner & Joyous BPB & a peachy/bronzey eye...sooo pretty I'm def. getting another.

I hope I can get BN! My counter was waiting on a restock last week when I was there. Hopefully by tomorrow they will have gotten some more! When you said it looks nice over pale peach l/s, I got all excited because I want Pleasureseeker from Neo Sci Fi and that is pale peach!

Yeah, I think I am going to chance it, and keep Rags to Riches.... Hopefully I won't regret it.

$100 for MAC sounds like an amazing gift! Don't know how little your kids are, but why don't you take them along and pick out a few items and let them choose one for you! My 3 yr old son loves going to the MAC counter with me, lol! He loves anything with tons of shimmer, it's seriously cute!

My suggestion would be though to get the two DG's that you want and save the rest for the stuff coming up very soon!

My boys are 4 and 6

I take my younger one with me most often because he isn't in school yet. He loves to pick things out for me. I ask them every morning what color I should wear on my eyes, and go with it. It is adorable.

All three of my boys (the 2 little ones, and the big one) are going with me tomorrow, so it should be lots of fun! I am definately getting my 2 DGs assuming they have the 2 I want still and if I don't find anything else, I will save it for later!

I just noticed that Comet Blue is now sold out on the MAC website. That color is pretty but I am not loving Comet Blue as much as Like Venus, Bare Necessity, and Sugar Rimmed. I can't believe I ever doubted my love for Dazzleglass. I can't see why MAC wouldn't make these a perm item. BTW add me to the Bimbo list as well as I am a dazzleglass whore!

Hi ladies!

Haven't had the chance to read through all 20+ pages but wanted to know which of the DG are the closest to the C Thru U color? I want a nude/sheer shade and live 2 hours from a counter so wanted to ask the experts.

I am not surprised that Comet Blue is gone. When I bought mine, I got the last one, just 3 hours after the store opened on launch day. Sadly, it made me look like I was without a heartbeat. It was not flattering on me at all. I agree, Like Venus and Sugarrimmed are my favs of the ones I have. I REALLY hope that MAC makes these permanent, and adds some new shades! They are selling like crazy around here. My counter is supposed to get a restock of some colors, so that gives me hope... maybe they will just keep making them, and keep shipping them! A girl can hope right?

Bare Necessity would be closest, but C-thru is a cream, and BN is sheer in color. The effect on the lips will be very different. They are in the same color family though.

I think I said this in a previous post but I totally got suckered into Comet Blue as my MA said it was the last one. Since I am so fair it does not look good unless I pair it with a bright lipstick (which I don't wear too often).
