It's hard for me to turn down lipstick, but I may pass this up. None of the shades really excite me. I will play with this, though b/c I am intrigued by the formula.

First off, hi to everyone! 'Been lurking for a while but I finally became a member, so HELLO to all.
Second, I was having a chat about upcoming products with one of my MUAs here in Los Angeles (at their busiest store in the area) and he mentioned lip products that looked "like ice". He was talking about the Dazzle lipsticks, showed me the book and we sat there trying to figure out if they were coming to the stores after Nordstroms.
I dunno about anyone else, but a lipstick that sparkles like ice sounds fantastic to me.
That's my favorite thing about MAC - they keep pushing the technology, always coming up with new, outrageous high tech textures and finishes. Take Flurry of Fun and Easy Lounger from To the Beach - since when have you seen glitter in a lipgloss that sparkles even when it's not being hit with direct light? I for one look forward to our new glittery overlords!

Like previously mentioned, I don't think the lipsticks will be as hella gritty as everyone thinks, else they wouldn't be rolling out so many. In any case, I'm only getting Hot Sass, Naughty You, and Baby's on Fire. I REALLY want to get Hellraiser just for the name, but I'm not sure how a lavender would look on my NC45 skin.

Some of the colors of the dazzle lipsticks are so pretty. I am hoping that they are not as gritty as the pictures appear.
However after seeing the dare to wear lipglasses I might just skip this collection.

When I asked the MUA at my MAC, she told me that the Dazzle lipstick finish was like a frost but very smooth and highly pigmented.. like Dazzleglass in lipstick version I guess. She said all the colors are uber gorgeous.. can't wait!

I like the sound of the colours but I think that if they look too frosty I'll have to pass and just stick with my 'groove' ones

I'm excited for these lipsticks too. I am definitely more of a Lustre/Frost/Glaze lipstick girl, though. I suspect I'll end up with at least 4 or 5 of these lippies and a couple of the Dazzleglasses too.
I'm excited that MAC is coming out with a new formula! It seems like there have been quite a bit of brand-spanking-new products launched this year. I love it!

I went to my local Nordies the other day & they had this collection out to play with!
All so very pretty!!!! I was able to pre-order as well. I was told by my MA that if you pre-order they could ship it out to you free of charge by the 25th of this month or you can wait to pick them up in July.

The lipsticks didn't feel that gritty & the Dazzleglasses are bootiful! I was going to order Glamour OD, since I have been debating a BU, but I honestly will not need one.
All the LIB are nice, I liked Miss Violet the best since I do not have those colors and I missed out on Lovestone when it came out with Flashtronic (I want it as a blush). But I do have all the other Flashtronic MES, so the other LIB were a pass for me.
