This is shaping up to be, makeup wise, one of the best and worst summers of my life.

Exactly! I feel like I have to buy them because they are so pretty and because I pull them off well, but there are SO many this summer. I completely agree with you about worst/best summer- so much good makeup but no money

I saw the back of the display for these as I was reaching the TTB display but forgot to swatch

I felt rushed and must have forgotten since the store was closing. I wanted to know how these felt on my skin

Ah well...

I am not so sure anymore about Win-Win l/s, it might be a little sheer and possibly dupeable(?).
But I am even more in love now with Hi-Faultin' l/g!

I hope it's dupeable lol 'cause I may be forced to skip.

Glamour OD and Hi-Falutin’ d/g look pretty. Are Dazzleglasses very sheer? If they're, I will stick to my regular lipglasses.

Uh-oh.... Temptalia's swatches have me wanting Win-Win now. I do NOT need to be buying this many lipsticks that are supposedly gritty and worse than frosts....

I forgot to mention that I thought Naughty You was absolutely stunning IRL. The MUA tried it on. She had an olive skintone and it was very bright on her. She didn't like it on herself, but I thought that it was absolutely stunning. It is unlike anything I have in my collection, and all of the girls from surrounding counters (Clinique, Dior, etc.) were swooning over it too.

The MUA also suggested I skip You Got the Look in that I had just purchased
Flurry of Fun with TTB. Although YGtL doesn't have that unique teal sparkle that FoF does, she thought that both glosses would function similarly when layering. I didn't have FoF with my to test that theory out, but it might be something to consider if you're looking to cut back on your purchases.

I thought that Baby's on Fire would be a gorgeous holiday colour, and I loved it layered with Amorous dazzleglass creme. Utterly Posh over Hot Sass was incredible swatched, although I am too fair to pull off orange myself.

Personally, I find these swatches of Temptalia's a little bizarre. Maybe it is our difference in skintone (I'm NC15), but I found Glaringly Hip was not that pigmented in my swatch (it was almost pure sparkle), but Baby's on Fire was much more opaque for me. Moral of the story is that you should hold out to swatch these in person before totally ruling them out.

I've decided to let myself get one lipstick and one dazzleglass from Nordstrom's and one when it comes to MAC stores if I like the formula. Dare to Wear looks WAY too exciting to be buying a zillion of these.

I posted swatches in the swatch section along with the displays of this collection (you can check out my blog for the same thing).

My Nordies had the collection on display today (totally wasn't expecting that!)

I wasn't the most excited about this launch; however, everything is much prettier in person. I only bought Glaringly Hip because, let's face it, how many glitter lippies do I need to own? These remind me a lot of the MAC in Lillyland collection Lipgelee's. In fact the glitter in Glaringly Hip is about the same color as Resort Life. I liked the Lillyland Lipgelees a lot but they just weren't all that practical for everyday. Oh heck, when it comes to MAC all practicality goes out the door!

The good news about this collection, you can't feel the glitter on your lips

Good luck getting every trace of glitter off your face though.
I can't help but think I'm going back to buy another lippie or two.

I'm still trying to decide if I should pre-order or wait until it hits MAC in August.....

EDIT: Are we for sure that this is going to MAC? Because I'd rather not pay the Nordstrom $8 shipping for 2 items.... Don't think I will pre-order

laylalovesmac, I found what purplerinne said. Last year, Graphic Garden collection (Nordstrom Exclusive) also appeared in stores later. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

Hmmm I think I will skip the lipsticks for now until they hit the stores, and I will get the dazzleglasses for sure

and maybe some of the Look in a Boxes, but I will have to see in person to really see if it is anything unique to my collection before I fork the $59.50 for them apiece

but it's an awesome value so can't complain much!
