I was bummed that Liquid Lurex was OOS so I consoled myself by branching out of my usual mold and got Baby's On Fire and Hellraiser. Yee Haw. Hope these glitter particles aren't like ninja glitter stars of doom...

I purchased the Miss Violet Box, soley for the Rose Beauty Powder and Desert Rose blush. I already have the Lovestone MES and Lovechild l/g. If anyone is looking for these two items, feel free to send me a PM and we'll work something out (I'm happy to swap, although I do not have an active want list right now, but that would be great!).

That said, I am not super crazy about the dazzle l/s. The glitter is just over the top/shiney/obnoxious/weird looking on me...
Maybe I am doing something wonky with my application? But unless I just really lightly pat it on over another color, I can't wear these on their own. It is just glitter-city and not in a cute way after the color wears off.
I love MAC's regular frost finish lipsticks, so I don't know if this is just me or what?
How are you guys applying these Dazzle lippies?

Crossed some stuff off my list after seeing the first of Temptalia's swatches and then added some stuff. I really think I'm liking these lippies a lot.

Ok, I've decided I'm going to get Hot Sass and Snazzy. Baby's On Fire isn't unique enough to me, Liquid Lurex will be gross on my pigmented lips and Infused with Glam looks very patchy. Two for me and I'm getting the hell away from that counter.

I went to the MAC Pro in NYC yesterday coz I thought I'd seen the Digi Pops collection when I went there looking for In The Groove esp. SR, but I was mistaken.
What I saw before was Superglass.
MAC Pro NYC doesn't have the Digi Pops as of yesterday.

Being away from the computer all day I miss a lot of stuff! I just saw Temptalia's swatches too and like a few of the l/s. I guess since these will come to the MAC stores in August I'll wait till then to get them. So far I like these:

Im not sure about Sweet Bits as there's certain tones along that range that look "off" on me. Like Crosswires...something in it just looks off on me when I wear it. I tried it 4 times now and it always looks bad. I asked the MAC Mua when I was there to pick up the Alice+Olivia stuff what it was in it so she swatched it and she thinks there's too much red in it compared to Jazzed that she tried on me that looked really nice. The two swatched together on her arm made me see how different they were in colors. I thought Jazzed would look sickly on me
Also does anyone think Hi-Falutin’ looks like Euro Beat?

So I totally wasn't interested in this collection until I just looked at Temptalia's swatches
...the lipsticks don't look too frosty at all!! I hope it's not just the photography that makes them look this way! And of course it's perfect timing since the collection comes out at Nordies tomorrow right??
Now I'll have to stop by after I run errands tomorrow!

These lipsticks look really cool from Temptalia's swatches- I love that you can really see the glitter- just awesome! I kinda like Sweet Bits but Nordie's site has it backordered until 7/30, which I don't really want to wait that long...
Oh and I did a quick review on the 'Tawny One' look in a box on my blog
It's a pretty set, definitely perfect for that "sun-kissed" look.

^^The Dazzleglasses are up on the site today. I ordered three more which means I will have them all but one.

I wore Hellraiser on top of Intricate lipstick and I think it showcased Hellraiser's true color the best.
Naughty you on temptalias swatches doesn't look like that at all. It's way more brighter and prettier in real life. I know it's hard to capture the glitter effect on camera. From a distance it gives you a really shiny/lipgloss effect.
I am thinking of skipping boys go crazy. I love how most dazzleglasses look in the tube but when you put them out, I am not that impressed. I wish the color was more opaque and the glitter kinda scatters and doesn't look the same as it does in the tube, and you also get such a small amount. I wish they were more glitter packed like the Too Faced Girls love Pearls lipglosses.
I got Hellraiser and getting Naughty You and I think that will satisfy my glitter thrist for now. When you get too many items, you don't enjoy each of them as much!

Darn, I kept waiting and waiting for Digipops to appear on the Nordstrom site and it never did. The only thing that tipped me off was coming here, and now two of the three lipsticks I ordered are backordered until 7/30.
