i was hoping the multi color side of hot contrast was more red. wouldn't it be nice if they had a red & black duo

*Napoleon voice* Heck Yes!! I was hoping for the swatches to be as striking as the look of Hot Contrast. Its just not. The black doesnt matter to me because I have like 8 blacks. But the multicolored side is just....eyeshadow puke. You cant really use the multicolored side separately (like only the red and then the silver) you have to use them at the same time. This was the one that had caught my eye and it is very disappointing. Maybe my mind will change. I'm glad to be able to save the money on these

Wow! Hot Contrast is a MAJOR let down for me. I just now saw the swatches as opposed to the pots.

I am still liking Play on Plums, debating Polar Opposites and have taken an interest in Odd Couple.

I was really hoping for more from Hot Contrast. I don't need another black shadow, I was interested in the other half. The veined portion looks like a make-up mishap in the swatch. It looks like too many colors blended together and all muddy.

I dunno, the thing is, you can't expect to know what the color is just by looking at the veining. You really have to judge by what the swatches look like. So yeah, I really like Hot Contrast because I wasn't expecting it to be red.

But yeah, I really like what it looks like! I only have one black, so I could definitely pick it up.

Odd Couple and Play On Plums look awesome though. I love purples with my brown eyes!

You're a much better woman than me!! I'm straight up pissed!!!! I was all psyched to see this cool reddish silver funkadelic color and it just looks nasty. But, you have a point. The veining is so small I should have known it wouldn't be an overpowering color. I guess if anything, I should be happy that it is one less item I have to purchase!!!

Like I said before, I'm getting ALL OF THEM!!! I honestly didn't even need to see swatches but now that I have I'm loving them!

While I would LOVE to get all of them, I know there are some that would sit unused. I agree with Hot Contrast being a let down. I will have to see it in person to make a final decision, but as of now, it's off the list. The only 2 that I know FOR SURE that I am getting are Sea and Sky and Fresh Green. The others I am up in the air about. Now, if I get lots of giftcards for my birthday like I am hoping, this will be the collection I will splurge on

While I'm excited about all the mineral products, I might only get one or two of the eyeshadows or pass on them alltogether.

I agree. I was considering Play on Plums and Fresh Green, but I think I'll just order Bio-Green instead! The swatch of the plum duo didn't impress me. I actually feel a sense of relief!

The Green in Fresh Green reminds me of Eyepopping, or Bitter

I wonder what the dark blue in Sky Blue looks like when swatched. Its beautiful

It does a little, and since I don't have either of those, Fresh Green is still on my list. At this point, the only other one I'm interested in is Love Connection. And did anyone else completely forget there's lipsticks and lipglasses coming out with this?!

Good thing the shadows are falling by the wayside (for me, at least) because I want a couple of each of those!

Nope, didn't forget about the lipsticks! If Fast Thrill is anything like the pic, it'll be mine, maybe even two of them!

So sad about Hot Contrast turning out like that in the swatch. I was really wanting it because the mixed side reminds me of Chinese/Japanese paintings (has this been mentioned before? don't have time to read through entire thread). But as Can'tAffordMAC said, it came out looking muddy and unappetizing.

Odd Couple is looking pretty good though.
