Believe it or not,my ma is the one that actually told me about Specktra and mua too,for swapping purposes.She doesn't get upset when I talk to her about future collections.She is wicked cool.

I envy you and other lucky ladies like Susanne who have good on-to-one relationships with MAs. I've never felt that any MAC MA at any store or counter I've visited has had any time to spend with me over and above the literally 2-3 minutes it has taken them to collect the items I've asked for an perhaps answered one question in a hurried - and usually ever-so-slightly-irritated - manner.

Are you always able to visit at quiet times? That would be a real luxury!

Me too! Unless I go right when the mall opens up during the week, the MAs at my counter are super busy because of the high volume of people--especially since bus loads of Canadians come to the mall with the counter and who can blame them for wanting MAC at a cheaper price?

Though, I have to say that the few times I managed to get there and have unhurried service I felt so pampered!

if l live closer the border, i would totally go there for every single release.

I always call my MA before I come to the counter two days before or so. Then I ask which time would be good to come e.g.if there are two MAs at the counter and she will have time for me. Or I come early in the morning and I am the first customer there.
If my MA knows I am coming she has time for me and a makeover or to take a look at the new products. I spend at least one hour at the counter (each way to the mall is 30 min by car).

YAY!! I want the ENTIRE collection. Can't wait!

Can anyone tell me what the difference between the regular shadows the MES is??? I've read that alot of people don't like the MES. Is this collection coming out in July or August?

Mineralize eyeshadows are baked just like mineralize skinfinishes are. They can be used wet or dry depending on the desired effect, and are usually made of a single color with a complimentary color "veined" throughout. Mac seems to have a mes collection every year.

I personally like the MES.
The main issue that makes people not like them is the fact that there is a lot of fallout involved with them and glitter, they can be messy.

I personally love the shimmer and color payoff of the MES.

But glitter sometimes is an issue, I have to admit.

Talking about anticipating a collection...just had an afternoon nap (that happens quite often if you own a cat

) that turned into hours of sleep with wildest dreams

I dreamt Electroflash was released, but not in the design that was shown here on Specktra. Eyeshadows were in thin rectangle-like container and the top surface was of the same colours as the eyeshadow inside.

I tried to sketch one up for you guys, it looked so amazing in my dreams! I copy&pasted Sea and Sky eyeshadow in the sketched shape

I'll also add that it's hard, for me at least, to wear more than a few of the MES at once. Like I can't do a look with only MES. I tried and it was a HAM. I still like them though, just pared with traditional eye shadows.
