MAC Emote

Can someone tip me on how they would use MAC Emote? I've seen several people using it for contouring/lowlight, but I've always heard of it as a blush. I'm a NC35 or so, and very interested in tips!

If you want to use it as a blush, I would recommend a brush like the 187 that can blend it really beautifully and soft. However, I honestly use it as a contouring powder to accentuate my cheek bones. I recently attended a Pro Tour class w/ sr. artist Greg A and a regional trainer named Beck, and Beck said that if you want to contour to make your face more round, contour horizontally, if you want it to look longer and thinner, contour vertically. Not necessarily a straight vertical line, but more down than across, if that makes sense. Just thought I'd share that tip, it was pretty helpful for me.

Then, you could also use as a blush maybe not so much on the apples of the cheek, but on the sides...hth!
