Hey you guys!!!!! I went to the MAC store and I B2M'd for Internationalist and Euro Beat dazzleglasses!!!!!! They look so pretty!!!!! Now, all I need to get is Saint Germain lipstick and I'm done with this collection.

I was so disappointed that my local MAC counter didn't have any Euristocrats!

The closest store is two hours away. Thankfully I'm going to Minneapolis soon, I'm dying to pick up Via Veneto. I have a special obsession with that l/g, because I went to Rome last year and shopped on Via Veneto!! Such an interesting color too, I don't have anything like it. Every time I read a rave, I get more excited!!

So I got Costa Chic and it's a really pretty bright coral pinky color, but the problem is, it doesn't seem to be very flattering on me! (Surprise surprise, this coral doesn't work on me, and I LOVE corals!) I dunno, it just looks really weird, and it doesn't go on evenly for me.

Anyone else have this issue? I'm NC30 btw.

I had exactly the same problems..

And I'm NC 25-30. The colour looked strange on me (makes me look tanned as well)...strange like when I look in the mirror it looks like the lips don't belong to my face or something.

And this is the 1st mac lipstick that goes on unevenly for me.

Yeah, I'm definitely thinking that this lipstick needs to go back. I was SO sure that it would work on me since it's coral, so I didn't try it at the store and just ordered it online. UGH, such a stupid mistake. You hit the problem right on the spot, it looks like my lips don't belong on my face either when I'm wearing this lippie, it's SO weird. And it doesn't look coral on either! It's like a weird pink, a weird salmon pink. And it's uneven too...

Are you going to return yours too or are you going to try and make it work? It's such a shame because it's such a pretty color...

me three! that's why I didn't get it... I think it has to do with my super pigmented lips and asian nc25-30ish skintone... I found a gorgeous coral color from YSL rouge volupte, so I guess I could save money for that instead

Oh MAN! I thought it was just me. So I guess this color just doesn't work on Asians then? Or maybe just NC30s in particular. Hahaha, I guess I'm going to send it back in the mail then.

So sad though, it is SUCH a pretty color. Maybe I should get Made With Love instead from Colour Craft or just save that money for something else...

LOL....It felt funny to type that "the lips don't belong to my face" but knowing you have the same problem means I wasn't seeing things!

I actually tried it in the store but definitely return it if you don't think you can make it work for you. I think it's just the colour combined with our complexion that's making it look odd.

Go try Made With Love if you have a chance. I definitely can pull it off a lot better than Costa Chic. And MWL is quite pigmented for a lustre lipstick.

I'm asian too with slightly fairer skin (probably NC20) and I really like how costa chic looks on me! Maybe because my lips aren't that pigmented.

I am NC30 and not sure if I love it on me, but I dont hate it. It does apply not very evenly thou. But I used some Pink Fish TLC on top of it and it looks so much better.

Hmm, maybe. But I hate having to HAVE to put a lipglass with a lipstick, I like to buy things that will work on their own, or what's the point in having the color you know?

It's probably because you're fairer. It seems like around NC30 it starts looking iffy. Probably because we're darker and somehow it clashes/not meshes with our skintone right..

LOL, and it's funny that I knew exactly what you were talking about! Like, it's fine if I keep my mouth shut, but if you look closely, or I'm grinning, my lips definitely don't belong to my face then!

Yeah, I'm going to mail back Costa Chic, it really doesn't work on me. I tried putting In 3D 3Dglass over it and that didn't work too well either. Agh, what a waste. But yeah, I don't think I'll try MWL, I have Coral Polyp from Damn Edna, definitely a coral I like better... and I don't like lustres all that much. And I need more lippies like I need me a hole in the head!

wow it does look great on you... on me with pigmented lips and nc25-30ish, it doesn't look like that at all. for me: just ugly (a mix of splotchy coral, red, fuschia... I don't know lol )

I'm like that too! And having to put a gloss over a lipstick is almost like spending double!

Yeah send CC back! I thought I would love it too but no, bright neon orange on me and made me look a couple shades darker.

i just hate wearing glosses over lipsticks in general!! perhaps i'm weird but i can only wear dazzleglasses over lippies - and even then it's rare!
