I was just wondering if anyone could tell me how similar London Life Lipstick is to Soft Pause Lipstick. My counter isn't getting this collection so I'll have to order the lippies I was interested in online

If I remember what Soft Pause looked like, it's a bit lighter than London Life since SP is more on the plum side while LL is on the berry side (I don't own Soft Pause or London Life so someone can describe it better than I can).

Vie Veneto and Rue De Rouge came home with me yesterday...and so did Internationalist after the MA showed me just how beautiful it was...

No regrets at all - I love them all! They give such beautiful effects when layered over different l/s colours.

I got Costa Chic, Saint Germain, London Life, Milan Mode, and Cockney l/s and then Internationalist and Rue d'Rouge d/g. I'm so excited to use these, They are all such great colors.

If Naked Paris is anything like it (but not a dupe) then it's a must in my book.

Anuone have any recommendations on a d/g that will help tone down Purple Rite just a bit? The m/a at the store suggested Goldyrocks and I love it but it really doesn't tone it down at all, just adds a really pretty shimmer. I'm kind of new to the d/g's so it doesn't have to be from this collection, maybe any of them. But the vv in this looks like I will have to get it anyway just because it looks so gorgeous. Thanks

How are you guys liking Local Color? I like Boy Bait and Partial to Pink and am hoping this would be a dazzleglass version in the same range as those two, yes or no?

I'm disappointed but I can't return it. On its own, the creaminess just settles into my lip lines.

I think each counter/store has their own policy for B2M because my local counter will let me pick an LE lipstick for a B2M but not the nearest MAC freestanding store. Go figure.

Got my stuff today! It was my first time ever applying lipstick and I'm pretty sure I need lipliner, STAT! I looked like I'd gotten into mommy's makeup, especially when I tried Cockney--it was even worse when I put Rue d'Rogue over it!

Naked Paris - supremely disappointed in this! It's almost the exact color of my lips so all it does it maybe make them a little darker and add some very subtle shimmer. I guess it's my perfect nude? Bleh. Doesn't look too bad with a little bit of Buzz on top of it, though.

Cockney - gorgeous red! It's way more intense than Venetian l/g. Unfortunately my application was kind of messy so it's hard to tell just how good it looked, but I like the color. Might have to invest in a lip brush.

London Life - what I was looking forward to the most! Loved it.

Also looks great with some Buzz on it (did I mention I bought a backup of Buzz?).

Rue d'Rogue - I only tried this over Cockney, not by itself. My applicator brush was very stiff at first. I thought it was kind of weird hard spike applicator at first, until I bent the bristles slightly against my lips. Weird.

DEFINITELY need lipliner though!

Thanks for the reviews. My lips are pigmented so I guess I'm taking Naked Paris off my list. Looks like I'll have to try Local Color on at the counter to make sure it looks good on me.
