Thanks again, Mac-Guy! I will get at least the "middle" SF (seems redhead friendly) and the warm e/s.

hi! Just want to ask Mac-Guy, are these EDSF have visible glitters or shimmers? and how are these compare to MSF?( texture, pigmentation etc) and also,do you think these would emphasize skin imperfections?like some of my msf does! :( im really interested in these SFs!! tia!

Thanks Mac guy :) Would you compare the skinfinishes to any Bobbi brown shimmer brick. Btw the centre of goldstone is my fave highlight ever :)

I don't own the shimmer bricks though I swatched them in the past. I don't think they are comparable at all. The EDSF are certainly the most "intense" skin finishes that I know, i.e. very pigmented, very buttery, creating a wet-look metallic finish. You can see the effect well in the promo pics.

I'd say it's a metallic wet-look shimmer, similar to foiling Goldstone, though the EDSF do not have any noticeable glitter. If you are unsure to what extent they emphasize skin imperfections, I strongly recommend that you try them in person.

Also, it is crucial that you know your face and bone structure to use the EDSF strategically to shape and sculpt your face using the right tools. A paint-on brush (189, 128, 191) followed by a buffer brush are essential. IMO, the 179 is by far the best choice as the angle lets you shape and buff at the same time. A flat kabuki like the 183 or a rounded one like the 182 were not my favorite for this SF.

You really want the most control you can get.

thanks a lot Mac-Guy!! you confirmed my suspicion! haha! they dont have noticeable glitter!! YAY! that alone convinced me that i should get atleast 2 EDSF! my only concern is if it might emphasize my pores.. i have prominent cheeks! and i kinda enjoy highlighting and contouring, though im no pro,so your tips are really helpful!! :D Thanks!!

Is it just me or does whisper of guilt look like shell ccb? I love shell!!!

WoG is far more pigmented and intense. It's hard to compare CCB's with EDSF's, as the finish and texture is so different. CCB's are far less opaque, whereas you can achieve an opaque coverage with an EDSF if you wish to do so (for an editorial look).

Oh I was just wondering shade wise rather than texture or finish....

BOTTOM TWO FOR MEE SQUEEEEEEEEE. I feel like all the MSFs I have aren't as intense as I'd like. These two are must!

Mac guy you are amazing, thanks so mcuh for the swatches I think all edsf's will have to be mine, i love to try and get golden godess going on in the summer (notice the try part of that) Not blown away by any of the eydhadow colours but will wait to see them in person. Are they anything like armani eyes to kill or chanel illusion d'ombre eyeshadows?

Mac guy, (but also everyone who has an opinion) what about using a EDSF as a highlighter and a MSF such as Sunny by nature as a contour? Would they work together?

Thanks for the swaches Mac-guy,do you think the Sf on the far right is too dark for a nc25-30 ? Maybe if it's applied and buffed? Xo

Sure, this should work. If you have a chance, try out Shadester as a contour. I have a feeling it might be the perfect shade for your complexion.

It is certainly not too dark. I'm much lighter than you and can pull it off. As you said, the product can be buffed out to match your complexion.
