MAC Extra Dimension discussion

I don't think I can justify getting three of the ED shadows, at least not now. I've narrowed it to Grand Galaxy, Lunar, Rich Core, and Modern Pewter. Which would be the most unique 2 to get?
I have not seen the other shades, but Grand Galaxy is gorgeous! I have nothing else like that, it's not red-purple like most of purple eyeshadows, it's a dark muted indigo purple. It's very wearable.

I'm not a big bronzer person so I just ordered Whisper of Guilt. so exicted to try that puppy out after all of the awesome reviews. You did help A TON. Thank you so much, you always enable me lol What would I do without ya ;)


Get Glorify if you want something that can do double duty as a bronzer. WoG will be the most neutral one, if you only want sheen without any change to your skin color. Superb will give you a hint of color along with the incredible sheen, but just enough to enhance, rather than transform, like Glorify does.
If you already have Crystal Pink and Pearl from Semi-Precious, and even Goldstone, you might want to pick Glorify, if you're not afraid of bronzing if you use it all over. It's most different to the Semi-Precious MSFs, color-wise. If bronzer isn't your thing, the choice is between if you want the option of some color (Superb) or no color, just sheen (WoG). Hello! New to posting on Specktra but definitely not new to MAC or stalking these threads! It seems I have been forced to come out of the shadows because I just received my black box and guess it's my lucky day because the 128 brush I ordered is missing from my box! So I'm here to ask you all, has this happened to you and how responsive was MAC in getting you your product, etc. Thanks!

Thank you, that sounds really unique! I must admit that I really love the name too. I think it would be a great crease/liner color.

Something similar happened to me. I purchased two brushes and they sent 2 different brushes than I ordered. I called MAC customer service and they told me to keep the two wrong brushes they sent and they still sent me the brushes I ordered.

Thank you!! Sounds like they have good customer service! I have never experienced a problem with MAC in the last three years I've been shopping with them. So karma must have decided I needed a swift reality check for my spending habits!

Yeah, I had once purchased a large order and found it was missing a brush, they sent it out to me and I was able to receive it within two days.

They've been really good at replacing missing things in my experience! Once a l/s was missing, and another time I ended up with an Estee Lauder foundation instead of my MAC items?!? However they let me keep it (I sold it on ebay :p) and received the correct items within a few days.

I have a quick question, as this has never happened to me. One of the orders I placed was for Whisper of Gilt and Warm thunder. MAC sent me another Superb and a lightscapade. I called them, and they're suppose to send me the correct items. She told me I could use the shipping label to mail the wrong items back. I don't need them because I ordered Superb in another order, and I already own lightscapade. Will they destroy these if I send them back? Kinda would rather see them go to a good home instead of being destroyed. Will they also hold on to the items I should have gotten until these are returned? In 6 years, this has never happened!

I'm surprised about this. Maybe they asked you to send it back because it is a high demand item. This is why I'm in such a state. I made a large order and splurged for overnight delivery. I will do this if I have a big order. Well, UPS left my box with a neighbor. Out of all the neighbors to leave it with, why this one? I knocked on the door every other hour yesterday to no avail. It was so upsetting. I then remembered how this neighbor had a package of mine for almost a week once. I think they must work nights. If you work nights, why would you accept the package? I was fully prepared to pick it up from UPS yesterday. Also, I'm worried that something in my order will be wrong and I will miss out on the items. I left a note under the door this morning asking when they would be available so that at least I would know not to sit at home waiting for them. I get home and I have no return note. I know it has only been one day but I called UPS and asked them to get my package back. They said they would ask the driver to retrieve it. What a pain.

I'm so glad! I don't blame you for being upset, I think it's ridiculous that UPS would ever leave a box with a neighbor.

Oh no I missed my package. The weird thing is that I am not supposed to get my items except on Friday. Now I am sad. I want my items.

I'm also thinking that this policy is sooo strange. If you don't really know your neighbor, why would someone ever leave your package to their place?!

My apologies if I look a bit sweaty here, it's so hot in the upstairs of my house. (We're holding out with overhead fans and open windows, at least until May.)
I've got Blue Orbit on the inner halves of my lids with Grand Galaxy on the outer halves. Full of Joy is on the cheeks, and WMS on the lips.
