I didn't get to play with the testers for as long as I would have liked - my MUA didn't start creating the testers for me until about 20 mins before closing so I had to scramble to swatch these, Tres Cheek, and take pics. I used cotton swabs to swatch, which is not my preferred method as the shadow is more prone to fall out from the pot, but it's quick and sanitary. From the swab, I took a little on my finger and applied it to my cheek bone. Overall I found the finish to be very smooth, easily blendable, and provides a beautiful shimmer without being overly shimmery or chalky in appearance.

I'm really excited to get these! I think I might use Glorify in place of my Gold Deposit SF, which has way too much shimmer/glitter for my taste.

"Smooth and blendable"- my two favorite words when it comes to face/cheek products haha!. I'm hoping to get all three of the skinfinishes. I stalk the MAC site daily just to check and see if they are available online. It's hard to wait until April 5th when you know just by looking at the swatches and reading the reviews what you can't wait to get!

I feel like I need all of the es because I kicked myself for missing out on Peacocky es with that formula.

i think i'm sold on havana, and now becoming convinced that one of whisper of gilt or superb might need to come home with me too...not sure which one tho.

are these ed skinfinishes similar to any of the existing msfs?

I wish Mac would repromote the 131 brush, one can only hope.... It's my all time favorite for mineralize products.

I haven't swatched S&G, only GD, but it was a while ago (bought it, but haven't used it yet). I didn't think to swatch them for comparison. The formulas of the EDSFs are different - unfortunately, I didn't get to spend enough time with them to be able to determine their similarities and differences.

The shadows aren't really creamy but they are super smooth and very easy to blend. They glide onto your skin like butter...absolutely gorgeous formula!
