Shellcat, do you happen to have Dalliance? I wondered how it compares to Warm Pewter- the photos seem to indicate that WP is a bit more earthy in nature, but photos are not always a good indicator of true color.

Ugh - I already made my order but after seeing Allura's swatches, I'm REALLY debating on Rich Core, Lunar, and Warm Thunder... help!

Blue orbit does look nice but I have the same problem.it looks terrible on me. However colors like rich core like nice but I have to compare to spectacle of yourself from mega metals. I wonder how they compare maybe Shellcat can help?

Thank you SO much! In fact, if you have Centre Stage can you compare it with Havana too? I am wondering if they are similar.
I really want Havana for contour for the face. That is all I am missing for my perfect face sculpting kit. LOL

I'm only getting Modern Pewter. I can't reisst a color like that. It looks a bit deeper than Dalliance, which is exciting. I've been in a rut and skipping eyeshadow lately. I need to calm down with hoarding shadows because on my lazy days (which are becoming too frequent, IMO), that's the one thing I skip.

I got my order today, yep just like the swatches we've seen, Superb highlighter and Sweet Heat eyeshadow are very similar! The texture is different though, the highlighter is 'creamier'.
The highlighter looks very metallic in the pan but you can apply it lightly for a more subtle sheen!
I will write a review for each product on my blog (in french, sorry!) but not today, I need time to test them and I just can't tell if I like them after only one use. I will do swatches too and try to compare them to others shades I already own.
I called to order Grand Galaxy eyeshadow and Whisper of Gilt highlighter, the design is just too pretty and the texture is to die for. I couldn't afford more eyeshadows though and couldn't justify to buy the other shades because I know I won't wear them very often.
Oh and my english was so bad she couldn't understand what I was saying, I kinda feel bad for her. lol but I know she probably feel bad for me too. haha! She transfered my call to the lovely Angie at the Pro Store in Montréal.

So Dusty Hunter said he sent his Estee Lauder Powder Gelee's to the MAC PRO in SF so they can compare them to the SF's and Superb is extremely similar to Modern Mercury! I am super excited now

I am totally in love with Whisper of Guilt, Superb, Modern Pewter, Young Venus.
I'm not wearing much make up today (mascara and gloss only) as I opted for a few extra minutes of sleep
but I really want to put on one of the skin finishes right now. No brushes with me at work though. LOL They have an amazing wet look to them, I can see wearing this all summer long with either a bold lip (hello Iris Apfel and Shop/Cook lipsticks!) or just lip balm (Tendertones, I'm looking at you here).
As soon as I swatched Modern Pewter I knew I had to use it in a look with Dalliance, and this was a shade that I originally was waffling on. The two have a very similar feel, Modern Pewter being a bit darker and deeper than Dalliance. lYoung Venus also surprised me, a pale pink that just glows, I think just this shadow plus a bold line of black gel liner would look really hot (and yet effortless), also contemplating using it as a cheek highlight with one of the Tres Cheek blushes.
I love how both eye shadows and skin finishes look so metallic and multi-dimensional. The texture is to die for, smooth, buttery, almost cream like (if I didn't know it was a powder I'd swear it was a cream). Definitely like veluxe pearl shadows but on steroids. LOL I think the only iffy shadow was Dark Dare, it didn't swatch as smoothly for me, I really wanted an inky black with a bit of sheen to it.
The Toronto Pro store didn't get any Grand Galaxy eyeshadows in, the one I was most excited to swatch and purchase. Guess I will have to play the waiting game and see if any of the other stores get that one in next Thursday.
