I am definitely getting all 3 ED Skinfinishes! As for the eyeshadows, I am leaning towards Blue Orbit, Modern Pewter, and Grand Galaxy. Although Warm Thunder and Young Venus are on my list.

Which 2 eyeshadows should I start with that have the highest chance of selling out fast?

Saw these in person today. These shadows are amazing. I do think Blue Orbit, Grand Galaxy and Modern Pewter are the stars of the shadows.

The EDSF are worth the hype. Can't rave enough about how gorgeous and complex these are.

I would think the same 3 would be tops but none of these were actually sold out on day 1 at the pro store. Surprisingly it was Rich Core, Lunar, Young Venus and Warm Thunder.

If I were going to pick 2 that might sellout first - maybe Blue Orbit and either Warm Thunder of Modern Pewter. But who knows, like I said none of these were sold out.. Maybe people were looking for staple colors first.

My guess is that the EDSF will sell out in this collection first. But who knows? What sells out seems so fickle these days.

Really I don't know what could sell out here in Italy.. it's a really expensive collection and people skip it for this reason! I see a lot of girls talk about grand galaxy!

If I had enough money I'd probably have taken young venus too... maybe after Easter I'll still find it in store!

I will go check out the 3 e/s I didn't get this Thursday. Dark Dare, Lunar and Warm Thunder. I am sure I will pick up 2 of the 3, with Warm Thunder most likely being one of them! LOL!

Also will BU Superb, and either Glorify or WoG.

They were already sold out at my Pro store before the sale date due to pre-orders. Then again, they only got like 3 of each of the EDSFs.

Hello all! Just dropping by after a long hiatus to say that I FREAKING LOVE THIS COLLECTION!!! I bought all the e/s except Havana and the pale pink one. Seriously contemplating going back for those 2 but have to consider carefully because I've been spending way too much money. I bought Whisper of Guilt too; it's so gorgeous and unique.

I have super oily eyelids and these e/s last well on my eyelids when used on top of paint pot as base. That's enough reason for me to warrant buying so many of these babies.

I'm here to tell all NC15 folks: Glorify looks fantastic as an all-over bronzer. OMG.

In fact, if you already have the MSFs from Semi-Precious, Glorify is the unique color to get if you don't want any color dupes.....although, the texture on these really is spectacular enough to make it worth duping your SP MSFs.

The texture on these skin finishes are so awesome. At first when you apply them, you might still see your pores, but just buff them in a bit and wait a minute or two for the finish to fully set. THEN, poof! PORES ARE GONE & YOU LOOK 15 YEARS YOUNGER! I love technology - these are the wettest, least drying and most pore minimizing highlighters/skin finishes yet. In bright light or low light, your skin looks dewey and glowing, not oily or sludgy or powdered up.

They're more sparkly than the Special Reserve highlighters from ChamPale, but also with ZERO frost effect. I don't feel like I need to retire my Semi-Precious MSFs in favor of these, though. The MSFs are a little less wet looking, with more pigmentation. What's so great about the EDSFs is that they're almost translucent, with the color mostly seen in the shine as it veils your face. But if you want some color along with your sheen, the MSFs are still the way to go, even if they don't hide your pores as phenomenally as the EDSFs. There's room for both of them, and you won't need to bother using Fix+ if you don't want to with either of them, which is very nice and a time saver.

I tried all 3 today and I'm getting them all, including Glorify!!!

Also, as far as the eye shadows go, Rich Core and Rare Earth MES are pretty much the same color, except the finish on the EDS is so radiant and shimmering, compared to the MES. If you love that color, get Rich Core and use it on the lid with Rare Earth in the crease - you won't be sorry.

Dark Dare - heavens to betsey, THAT is a black shadow. It's got a finish like wet asphalt and is so incredibly buildable. Or you can just wet your brush before picking it up for the thickest, blackest application in one pass. Puts other black shadows to shame.

Blue Orbit is just gorgeous. So is Young Venus, which is like Seedy Pearl entered the 21st Century. You really won't need Sweet Heat if you're getting Superb. Havana is very cool toned - didn't look that great on me, compared to Twilight Falls MES or Center Stage MegaMetal. Warm Thunder is the nicest grey/silver in a long time and is cool-ish but not so cool toned that it will look weird on warm skin tones. Modern Pewter is a lovely color, but it's like Dalliance (just a bit darker) - if Dalliance doesn't look good on you (it looks pretty bleh on me), Modern Pewter won't be much better. On the other hand, if Dalliance works, don't miss Modern Pewter. Grand Galaxy is another gorgeous purple to own. Lunar will make you drool if deep, jewel-toned blues are your thing - the texture is beautiful, and it's so buildable.

Personally, I'm getting Young Venus, Blue Orbit, Dark Dare, Rich Core and Grand Galaxy. I might also eventually get Warm Thunder, but I do have plenty of silver Crushed Metal pigment, from Surf the Ocean and also from the holiday stack with the white/silver/blue/black.

If you only could get one, I'd say get Dark Dare - you can apply it so that it looks more matte or more sheen-y or even sparkly, and you can apply it sheerly or build it up or just get a thick dense layer applied wet. It's the darkest and most versatile black eye shadow I've ever seen. If you never use black shadow, Rich Core, Grand Galaxy or Blue Orbit would be the way to go for a colorful one, or try Young Venus if you love Seedy Pearl. With the right skin tone, Modern Pewter will be the most interesting one, if you don't want DD.

Thank you Liba! I always look forward to your in-depth descriptions and insights on the new collection items!

I had pondered getting Young Venus, too. At first I was thinking it was "just another light pink shade" but now I'm finding that while I do have shimmery light pinks in my stash, all of them are quite sheer and are not as buildable as I would like. I'm thinking Young Venus will bring pigmented color, at the same time it looks like it would be quite gorgeous as a highlight for the inner corners of the eyes and under the brow :)

Oh Liba Liba. You enabled me to get one of the EDSF. Damn I was hoping I could be done with these collections. You enablers you! lol. I dont wear MAC foundations anymore as they tend to not match up with my skin color. But when I go to MAC I'm matched as NC15. Which one would suit me best?

Get Glorify if you want something that can do double duty as a bronzer. WoG will be the most neutral one, if you only want sheen without any change to your skin color. Superb will give you a hint of color along with the incredible sheen, but just enough to enhance, rather than transform, like Glorify does.

If you already have Crystal Pink and Pearl from Semi-Precious, and even Goldstone, you might want to pick Glorify, if you're not afraid of bronzing if you use it all over. It's most different to the Semi-Precious MSFs, color-wise. If bronzer isn't your thing, the choice is between if you want the option of some color (Superb) or no color, just sheen (WoG). Hope that helps!

I have them here with me... and I'm thinking about Young Venus too *___*
I also took WoG and Glorify (thanks to Mac guy who enabled me on the latter)
To me this is the best collection of 2012 for quality of the products!!
