Going to be my next "going out" look! Keep the ideas coming girl!
Wore YV over Shell CCB with neutral grey matte shadow (concrete or coppering) & BF loved this look. Used YV on lid and just under the brow. St. Germain lippy and very subtle blush (Sunday Afternoon from Vera, blended out). I will do that again and again. If you don't have Shell CCB, Nubile paint pot will work well or Fresco Rose I bet.

I tried Young Venus on the lid, sweet heat in crease with Lets Skate Paint Pot.. Looks pretty cool I think!! Let me know!! Any other suggestions for Young Venus what to pair it with????

I love YV on the inner half of the lid with Rich Core on the outside half. It's become one of my go-to combinations.

I also like pairing it with a dark brown in the crease and on the outer corner, I usually use Center Stage from Peacocky for that.

I usually use Painterly paint pot as a base for both of those.

Thank you in advance.
I'm paley pale pale neutral NC15 and I love Glorify! I use it just as a slight highlight on the cheeks, buffed out it looks like there's just a hint of shimmer. Not at all orange and brassy. Just a nice summery glow.

How are you all wearing Young Venus? It is my other least favorite... I put it on today with carbonized, and it had a lavendar sheen.
tha will make it ashy. Wear a beige paint pot underneath (like paintely) and add a cool color with it (crease or outer corner)... I would not go for warms with young venus at all. it would kill the sheen

Edit To Add:
I ordered Modern Pewter from the MAC (USA) website. I hope it holds up better than Blue Orbit...

Well, Modern Pewter arrived yesterday and i gave it a test run. I can say it definitely held up better than Blue Orbit. I didn't even use eyelid primer and it lasted just fine until it was time for bed. It's such a great in-between color. I dunno, maybe the pigment in Blue Orbit reacted with my skin chemistry in such as way as to disappear.

I got Superb when the collection was released but haven't worn it yet. Gonna give it a try soon.

More of shinmer. I use MM, IF, Melba or Stunner and just buff a smidgen of Glorify on top of the cheekbones with the 109 brush then buff it out. I haven't tried it as a bronzer. I'm kind of a bronzer-phobe lol. If I do bronze, I use Harmony blush. Just as a contour more than anything.

Off topic, but I thought it could be interesting. Just saw a pic of some new EL e/s on Facebook which will be released in August. Not sure if these are like the Cyber Eyes ones, but they sure look pretty. And doesn't the 2nd one from the right in the bottom row look a little like Grand Galaxy?

Thank you - some really pretty colours there. If they are like the Cyber Eyes formula, then I have an idea what my next lot of House Of Fraser vouchers will be spent on

Pretty! I like the second one in the last. I was kind of hoping they would make a pale champagne color in ED soon so that may work.

>What are some good colors to pair with Warm Thunder?

I've been pondering this myself. Of all the ED shadows I bought I have the most trouble with this one. It pulls VERY blue on me.

I've tried Lunar with it but still don't quite like where it ends up.
