MAC french violet pigment question

I bought it last weekend in the PRO store in Rome; on the box it says it's 2.5g only. is it a mistake? or just very expensive? thanks everyone

I´ve had the same thing, 2.5 g...But the jar was full, just like any other Pigment I had bought, so I thought that there was no biggie. It´s still gonna last me a lifetime, anyway; and the color is absolutely gorgeous, so it´s worth it!

some of the matte pigments and a couple of metal ones are only 2.5g vs 7.5g. its not a misprint and you aren't getting ripped of. it has something to do with the ingredients, weight, etc.

and if some of your pigments aren't full, they're not all gonna be. they are measured by weight and not volume. when they ship, it all settles to the bottom, and the jar can even look only half full.
