Thanks for the vid! It helps A LOT! I am def gonna skip this powder and get MSFN, I have pretty dry skin esp living in CO as Camnagam has said, its cold! (its suppost to get below 0 again this week arg!)
And I do wish they would make a NC10, NC15 almost still seems a tad darker esp. in the winter

And I have NEVER wore a liquid foundation, always felt it would look cakey and break me out, but this studio fix liquid sounds like something I should at least give a try!
Or for those in the know...or should I try MUFE HD foundation instead ladies? Price is a huge factor as well though, I know MUFE is more expensive.

I just got an email from MAC Pro that it is now available to purchase online but I think this is one that I definately need to see the finish and texture in person before I decide.

I got a chance to try the new powder and tinted moisturizer shade extension in Medium Plus today and was pleasantly surprised. I can't nail down a difference in the powder atm, but it does produce a nice glowy natural looking finish with medium coverage. I used a Kabuki brush to apply because I wanted to get as much coverage out of it as possible. The tinted moisturizer, Studio Moisture Tint, was actually a nice change of pace from the usual offerings of this type. Instead of being overly pearly and "slick" (which on me turns into straight greasy looking) it dried down to a medium matte finish. Very nice for Valentines dinner with the hubby!

lovely.. and good that MAC is addressing an area of product that had been a bit over looked.. I tried the Light Plus and loved it!

So...I went to my local MAC Pro store and the MA swore that there were only 4 colors of the Studio Careblend Powders released...can someone knowledgeable verify this info? Clearly the promo pictures show more that four and, to my dismay, two of the ones I wanted to swatch were not one of the ones the store had in stock.

Just looked on the Australian website and there are 8 careblend powders, and the shades seem to be the same as the MSFN shades (Light, Light Medium, etc)

It is on the US site now. Not sure when it went up as I haven't been on there in awhile. Will the powder be a permanent product?

I saw that the release date is Feb 17th in stores so it should have been online yesterday? Or is Feb17th the PRO Launch?

I tried the new NW46 foundation today and the color was good, in comparison to NW45 and NW47. My issue is that is runs very orange/red, which is my complaint with NWs. It would have been cool to have some new NCs but oh well. Side note: the MAC store I went to did not have the darker colors. She said that was all they got and she didn't know about NW44, 46, or 48. I demo'd at Nordstroms instead.

The powders, initially, nothing to write home about. I was expecting something mind blowing, but nothing.
I am not going to rule it out yet, so I'll try again on saturday. I know the powder is suppose to be good for the skin, but what else?? I tried deep dark. This may be $$ saved... we'll see
