Hey guys

Was it just my crappy vision or did a lot of these blushes have large glitter chunks in them? I was kinda bummed about that but I did get one, Intenso.

^^ When I swatched them in the MAC store and counters on three occasions, I saw large glitter chunks too.

i was just browsing through the mac website and it says all of these are sold out? REALLY? REALLY? some of them are not even that cute. like intenso. i don't get it.

the only one i got was moon rock and i managed to get that the day my store got them in cause i'm pretty sure they are sold out now. i was really looking into getting light over dark for a nice bronze-y color. i was actually hoping the cco's get them eventually.

^^No just moon river is sold out. Sometimes if you click on the item that is sold out of out of stock and then click on another that will say it is out of stock as well. At least that is what I have noticed.

Team Cats?? Can I be the token reluctant waterboy/girl/whatever? My cats are seriously f-ed up. God love em, I couldn't live without the three of them but wtf, they're all a little whacked. The youngest thinks he's a dog. Pants, growls and plays fetch.

No lie. I play fetch with this goofball every day. How I manage to pick the nutters I don't know, but they are so entertaining.

These blushes last all day long on me, and I have very very oily skin.

They are super pigmented though, the first time I put on Grand Duo I was like "woah, I look ridiculous".

Truth.

Love Rock on my fish belly white skin makes me look like I belong on the street corner unless I use an infantisimally minute amount, and we're talking no visible grains at all on the brush lasting me 40,000 applications. Don't get me started about the first time I applied Light over Dark

How are you liking Light Over Dark? I wasn't initially considering it, but after swatching it at the counter I fell in love with the color. I decided to give myself a few days' time to think about it, but when the damned blush was on my mind 24/7, I knew I couldn't ignore it any longer.

The next time I go to MAC will be the day it comes home with me.

I like Light over Dark, its beautiful, but using the two together is quite orange on me. I do better when I use them seperately. The MA told me that the Gold Deposit MSF and Light over dark are very similar when swatched, but I didn't swatch them myself unfortunately.

Right so i gave in and decided to order moon river online because the SO didn't take me to see them in the store which i have to travel to ( don't like travelling alone
tong.gif
).
However like some other peoples orders it was put on backorder :S and cancelled. This brings me to my question, am i really missing out if i don't order it again? I'm thinking of totally skipping and saving up for colour craft seeing as i love the sound of the collection so damn much!

Help please

Sam, I guess in the end it is up to you, but I have seen the collection and still have some MB from Sonic Chic. Personally I would wait for the MSF, they have more MB as well. And Moon River is very silvery on me, barely colour. You can have that with a blush and an MSF over it. Just sayin.

Nora,
I thought they might have had the blushes at the same time as HK.

Which is the orange side? The solid or marblized part?

I can't be objective about this, you know that I'm in love with my Duos.

But really, it is up to you. If you feel that you don't need or want it, then pass on baby. There are more mineralized goodies coming out with Color Craft anyway.

I decided to skip and wait for colour craft, and if i find it in the future then it's fate :p
but for now i'm happy without it

I keep wanting Moon River, but it is way too pale for me. I think I'm just in love with the prettier-version-of-Lightscapade marble side.

Both together. if I use them seperately the solid side is more brown, almost contour worthy for me, and the marblized side I use as a blusher. But to be honest, I also just got 4 new MSFs, Love Rock, and Blunt blusher, so I find I'm not using it as much as I anticipated. I find myself reaching for blunt, refined, blonde
love.gif
(just got it yesterday and am wearing it today) and Love Rock lately.

I really loved moon river too, but it would be strictly a highlighter for me on my pasty white skin. I decided not to get it because I got perfect topping and an msf dupe from marcelle cosmetics (which is so bright white/silver and shimmery). I think from now on I will concentrate on MSFs rather than MBs, since they are more versatile. The only MB from the colour craft collection i'm interested in, for example, is the one that's supposed to be very red.

When I tried on Grand Duo it turned out really bright on me[NW20] and even the MA said it was just to much so she suggested Gentle and when she tried it on it was exactly what I was wanting Grand Duo to be so I ended up getting it instead.

I think Grand Duo was a little more pigmented, and just a little bit darker than Gentle. But honestly if you have Gentle you may wanna pass on Grand Duo IMO.
