Agreed! This has quickly become one of my absolute favourites. I think there's a slightly plummy tone to it that makes it so flattering compared to all my other bright pink blushes.

Moon River imo is quite different than the rest of these. I really like the other four I have, and they're not near as shimmery as this. I'm still wondering whether I should keep this or not, because it doesn't show up all that much once it's on.

^^I think the slightly plummy tone comes from the marbled side, it has a slight violet tone to it.

Confession time, today I had to run an errand for hubby at the mall, I saw MAC so of course I went in and asked about Sugar Sweet

they said they still have no idea when will it arrive but maybe in about a month or so

I checked the Grand Duo display and swatched Hot Planet on my hand and bought it

I didn’t even try it on my face

I swear MAC is my crack; it’s like I have to get my fix

4-6 weeks is just too long of a time to wait for SS

Anyways the good thing is the MA gave me a sample of Deep Blue Green Pigment

Thats so true, you can see the plummy/violet tones when you take it off. I could (& pretty much do) wear this shade every day I love it sooo much. Its such a pretty soft tone pink.

Nora (stv578) & elegant-one, not loving on the moon rock? eeee its my fave!! I've vowed to not get another msf, this one works like an awesome pink highlighter and blush.

but tbh, I love the grand duos blushes...i have 4, and <3 them. But seriously guys, I think I need to go on a no (or who am i kidding, a limited) buy on both blushes and lip products. Will I ever hit pan on a friggin blush? signs point to no....muhahahaaa

I don't find Moon River to be too shimmery at all. I use it swirled together. I think if only the marble side is used then it comes off very shimmery, but other than that it's fine. I like to take it out to stare at it though, it is such a beauty.

I regret not getting moon river. Oh well I am sure that something from another collection will come close or I am going to try and dupe it with some MSFs.

I did get Grand Duo but sadly I am going to pass on love rock. Tish I still want to be just like you and now even more that you are being so strong in skipping Rose Romance.

^^ yeah I am hanging tough...I only got one thing from Colour ready and that was the Transparent powder...I am taking baby steps...so if I can get one non makeup item and skip items like lipstick, gloss, blush etc....I am doing great...God knows I have enough!!!

But Moon River is so nice...you are strong for letting that one pass

I like MoonRiver, I don't think I love it though. I do think it is very pretty but just doesn't float my boat enough for me to consider it a must have.
THat being said I forgot to mention tahat if you're still on the fence about Moon River, try it over dollymix. I think it is such a pretty combo.

I think I've said a gazillion times before how love rock is my fav and then the other day I got a photo of myself from a dance performance and you can see it LOL. It's looks a bit darker than it is because most likley myy cheeks were flushed by that point in the dance. It was pretty funny since I stepped on my skirt getting up from the splits and nearly fell on my butt

Very close call lol!

Okay... so I caved. I CAVEDDDD! Moon River seduced me into buying it, and OMFG I LOOOOVE IT. It's not too light for my skin, and the marble side over some blushes I have is AH-MAZING. I'm in love

Or lust... not sure yet.

It's my dance hybrid; mixing the caribbean styles with bellydance and I've had some criticism for it but meh such is life. Can't please everyone, but it's nice to know I can please some of the ladies on Specktra

I'm still contemplating getting Moonriver and Earth to Earth but I also have on my list to purchase is Perfect Topping, Refined and Brunette MSF (from BBR). I need to shorten my list
