The best palette to get for the MAC blushes is the MAC palette that is already magnetized...the CS one is not

Geeko and Elaine: your mothers are so cute! I wish I could share makeup with my mom... especially with the pigments, it would help a lot in finishing products faster lol.

I'm with you on this one dreamer, my mom never wears makeup except for weddings and all that is for her is eyeliner, mascara, and lipstick. Ever time I express interest in makeup or pass a MAC, she goes gives that "ugh wasting my time with makeup" look... lol

for you, I would recommend Grand Duo for sure... it's my favorite, it's like a blusher and bronzer all in one

OK, I think I may cave and get Moon River. It's just too pretty...plus I love that song and Breakfast at Tiffany's. I can think about the movie everytime I wear it!

You can't depot the Grand Duos, just a warning, they're baked into their pan, so they would break if you depot them. The other blushes are okay though.

Definitely, I'm GLAD my mom loves piggies!

I wanted to get her a pigment set from the holiday collection, but I think she would say I'm taking it too far then! Hahahah. So I'll just get her Dazzleglasses and stick to splitting piggies with her.

And so you should! I bought love rock yesterday and tried it on tonight and it was the prettiest "glowy" pink cheek ever.

I have tippy and blonde MSF but they don't look like that swatch on my cheeks when paired at all. Both Tippy and Blonde (even on their own) have a tendency to not look like true pinks on me, they almost look a litlte coral-ish... either that or my eyes are going on me from staring at the computer screen too much looking at swatches and reading forums

Also must confess... I ended up having to take my boyfriend to the mall as he wanted to get a book and there was a Bay... which had a Mac counter and I just went to show him the others and somehow left with Grand Duo...I blame him as I tried it on and said "Hmm it's abit darker than anything else I own, Don't know if I'll ever wear it" to which he replied "Well then it would be good for stage since you always forget to put on heavier make up so that you don't wash out under the lights"! SEE, it is all his fault.

Although I am glad I "listened" to him, grand-duo is gorgeous! My first plum coloured blush

I will try and post some swatches tomorrow if I get a chance

On my skin Tippy, Pleasantry and Love Rock were the same color.....so I think it will work for me....One was just sparkly and one matte....

I love Grand Duo it is gorg!!!

i finally got my 2 today....and im pretty much SOLD and will be buying three more. they are effing gorgeous and extremely pigmented. even moreso than the regular mineralized blushes.
