May i suggest you both... don't get MSFs from SS collection. we are all make up whore, but why you buy it if u know u won't use it? i'm not interested with highlight & i think those MSFs are for. use your money to buy more grand duo blushes.

I went back today to return Intenso but I decided to keep it. Now I want Light Over Dark, it looks kinda of coppery red on me. I love it. I'm going back tomorrow (um, that will be the 4th time this week) to get Light Over Dark.
Then I'll have Hot Planet, Intenso, Light Over Dark. I refuse to swatch any other colors!!

Love Rock is cute, but I don't think I want it.

The rational part of me says get what you know that you will use and/or what gives you more options like the Grand Duos. That would be the smart way to spend your money. BUT....I like you am an MSF whore and I know that if I skip the Sugarsweet MSFs that it is going to haunt me. MSFs are like crack to me. I must have them all!!

I promised myself the same thing this year and so far I have been better than last year but still not that great. I am making it a point to really research itmes by looking at peoples swatches and reviews. I have even tried to stay away from the counters and just order things on line as to not be tempted by other products. The buying of MAC is a hard thing for me to control but slowly I am getting better at not going overboard.

I prefer intenso over merrily as merrily looked orange on me, but intenso is the perfect pinky-coral-red that looks so good on me.

Its my second favourite of the whole collection. Grand duo is gorgeous and even though its similar to some pink blushes I own, I just could not pass it up. I have 4 out of 7 now, I keep telling myself I don't need Earth to Earth. Can anyone do a fotd with earth to earth?
These blushes are total eye-candy! I want to eat them. haha

Are these really better than the regular MSFs? I know I want to go back and get Love rock but then again I want all of them. I don't want to get all of them because it will hurt my bank account wayyyy too much. Which ones are must haves?

I agree...and i have decided to take the plunge.....and forgo the MSF's in SS ...I was only getting them because they were MSF's and for some reason i feel the great need to have them all..even though I don't wear but 2-3 of them tops....

I am going for 4-5 Grand Duos and start building my collection of those since I only have
Merrily, Pleasantry and Love Thing....

I am sticking to my decision.....I just have to narrow my last 3 Duos dowwn

I have Moon River, Grand Duo ....gotta determine the last 2-3 choices

I'm so proud of me too!1 I finally made a decision based on my head not the hype and I am pretty happy with it ....I need to get a grip and realize it's JUST MAKEUP!!! and one can possibly have enough of one thing..and I have enough MSF's

Aw I'm a little sad...I just looked at the Moon River I got and the veining part is so much smaller. *sigh* I like the veining part a lot. I don't want to return it because they will throw it away. What to do...

Honestly, I would choose these over the MSF's. You will get way more use out if them imo.

I also need to mention that I tried Hot Planet today, and love it! I honestly can't describe the colour. It looks kinda corally indoors, more peachy outdoors, but I generally dislike peach on me, this has a hint of something more, I think the plummy side lends a rosy hue to it.

And these are just so easy to apply.

Tish, if you are planning on getting more of these, give Hot Planet a try.
