Ok well I am officially on a low buy until this. I am only allowed to get my Matte lippies that I planned on getting. I am in love with at least half of this collection! Here's what I'm interested in for now Lipstick Sparks of Romance: true red (MATTE FROST) Salon Rouge: clean berry red (matte) -- maybe   Mineralize Blush Modest Blush - light baby salmon pink -- maybe Fluidline Gentrified: brown and bronze pearl   Eye Kohl Tarnish: dark dark green   Cremesheen Glass Ceremonial (Matte) - hot pink with sparkles -- MATTE CSG?? Uh yessss! Courting Chic - deep berry red with gold sparkles -- maybe   Nail Laquer Just Jewels (Amplified) - light pink with silvery rainbow pearl -- maybe   3 Brush Kits, $52.50 --- NEED the ivory one!   Lip and Eye Bags $39.50 -- I need one or two of these, will see! 3 Lip Bags Red Nude Coral   Viva Glamorous both VG Riri l/s in a set $30.00 -- possibly So I am in trouble!

They're throwing every formula there is into this collection. Granted it's the colour collection and sets, but you've got cremesheen and mineralize gloss, regular and mineralize and ED shadows, pressed pigments and loose pigments, it's just a mishmash of formulas. There's no consistency, no cohesion. It makes no sense.

I'm more than happy about that! I like variety.

That is exactly how I felt reading through this thread. It feels all over the place. Like Mac is desperate to please and thinks throwing every type of product at us is the way to do that... :lol: With that being said... My list is Salon Rouge, Tribalist and Modest Blush. That's my list and I'm sticking to it!

Wow what a surprise to wake up to. A little bit overwhelming, especially with all the different formulas, but I have to say I am excited!!! I've been on a low buy since last years holiday. This one is gonna be expensive

Very true.. as a consumer it's nice because there's almost something for everyone. But as a concept it's not strong at all.

As a marketing and selling standpoint, it's not smart. I can see how consumers think it is, but when you've sold cosmetics for a living, trust me, it's not. It may not make sense, but it's not.

3. I'm scared because this collection seems to correspond to Divine Night from last year which was released online 10/13 so I'm thinking it won't be too late after that

Love the extra dimension eyeshadow duo idea! Nay, good job on the pics. Looking closely at the edes duo pictured they look like either Young Venus or Opalesse and Rich Core. Coincidentally, I am wearing RC today!

I'm very pleased that there is a lot of variety in this collection. I must think differently than the average consumer, because for me, variety makes me buy much more than I would otherwise, so MAC must be trying to appeal to people like me. This collection is looking like candy land to me, and I know I'll be spending a small fortune.

This looks like a nice collection. Last year I got a few of the eye and lip kits, it may be the same this year. I will probably get the loose pigment sets, lipsticks, and maybe a couple of the eye and lip sets. There is a lot to choose from but I will try to stick to my favorite finishes.

I agree with what you are saying. This collection could easily be 3 collections instead.
