dumb question because I have been mia:what benefit does this give us? At the point our pro discounts kick in, everything is gone. Are they saving back stock for pros or are we s.o.l?

Yeah, I don't really see any benefit to being a pro member...you pay them money but you can't get a discount till everything is sold out, you don't get free shipping, you no longer get an early release...so what exactly DO you get?

um I suppose the discount is good on foundation and concealer? Or that one brush you randomly kill? Not worth the cost anymore unless you blow through that like water. I thought the whole reason for early release and discounts was to keep mua's on trend? Cuz a passé mua might as well work on cadavers.

I still think there is that intent just not on special packaging items.

Exactly. Most things would be sold out by then, but this new policy only applies to collections with special packaging. It does not apply to all LE collections.

I wasn't too crazy about the packaging until I saw this picture...now I must have it!! Once again, MAC has my money for the rest of the year. I wish they had some type of system that Sephora has with the VIB and VIB Rouge.
