Is it true that MAC counters will be stocking the collection in advance for pre-order?

They don't stock just for pre-orders. They do pre-orders out of their regular inventory, the same inventory that is sold on launch day. Pre-orders are then picked up on launch day, no sooner.

I preordered today at my local MAC when I went to check out RHPS. They were only doing it for the sets though, not the color collection. But fortunately that's most of what i want (until I see swatches).

LOL, I am SO in! And when I saw Ramen and peanut butter, I initially went ew cause I guess I thought of peanut butter flavored ramen noodles!

If you're already a fan of pressed pigments, I think you will love these mini's. In my opinion, they are more smooth & buttery soft than the permanent line. These look amazing on! Apologies for the horrible pictures, this is just with my phone, in natural lighting. It's really hard to photograph the swatches, I tried my best. lol ooh:

I got the pigment too. I already had the Sparkle Baby singles, they were taking too long to release the palette, I do prefer palette's and it's really cute!

Ugh... I am cussing at the idea of buying the Silver + Blue pigment set just to get another vial of grey glitter! I have no interest in the other colors in that bunch.

You can always sell or swap what you don't want in the clearance bin or use them as stocking stuffers.
