Ewwww Nay, eewwwww! LOL
Spicy peanut sauces are eaten with noodles or rice or some other starch, sometimes with chicken as well, in Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, southern China, and West Africa. If anyone has had satay in a Thai restaurant, it usually comes with spicy peanut sauce. There's a Szechuan dish i've always liked that's great for summer, Tang Tang noodles, which is noodles with spicy peanut sauce, sometimes served cold.

This is NOT my recipe - i stole it off the internet, from some giant site that amalgamates lots of recipes that are not exactly curated (i.e., some are good and some are awful and some are in between), but it looks easy enough

TANG TANG NOODLE
2 tbsp. peanut oil
2 tbsp. green onions, minced
2 cloves garlic, minced
1/2 tsp. chili flakes
1/4 c. crunchy peanut butter
1/4 c. soy sauce
1/2 c. chicken stock
1/4 c. red wine vinegar
8 oz. oriental ramen-type noodles, cooked (i'd use noodles that don't come in a styrofoam cup ;-)

Saute the garlic and onions in the peanut oil for 2 minutes. Add the chili flakes and saute for 1 minute. Stir in the peanut butter and continue stirring until it is completely melted. Add the soy sauce, stock, and vinegar; stir until thick and bubbly.
Toss the sauce into the noodles and coat evenly. Serve warm. Garnish with more minced green onions, if you wish.
Makes 4 servings.

In my experience, this can also be made with sesame butter/paste, aka tahini, instead of peanut butter. Both versions are tasty.

Outside of the US (and i'm guessing Canada), most of the world thinks peanut butter on sandwiches is gross...

Me, i'm willing to try almost anything... almost...

Damn, Courting Chic looks so pretty in the tube but it's rather... not as impressive on the lips. Bah. I'm tempted by Salon Rouge but it kinda looks like Just a Bite, which I own. Looks like I'll have to swatch and compare in person.

First of all I have amazing news. I found my Seductive Intent mattene! I thought I lost it. I freggin LOVE that color so I'm super stoaked! Anyways... My only definites are the viva glam bag and the gold nude piggy set. Think I'm skipping all of the color collection. Was going to get the black f/l. But wish it was darker. I'll just wait.

One of my absolute favorites along with Nocturnal Instincts. I keep buying them. I feel like the Prabal Gurung collection has similar shades.

Thank you for the recipe!

And yeah, I've sometimes seen peanut butter in a supermarket, but sounds weird to me. Never tried it. Now give me nutella and we are talking! :p

I've had Nutella on crumpets on a few occasions... Nothing but pure bliss... And Nutella of course. Peanut butter and jelly (or in the UK - jam) l am quite miffed why most Brits don't like that combo, it's the best thing going
