Same with me...feeling a bit under the weather today. I do think it's the cooler temps, etc. Autumn/Fall has finally arrived on the Eastcoast!

Thank you ladies so much! @sweetyellow I so understand because my sore throat started on friday while at work. Woke up Saturday not feeling to good. I hope you feel better soon as well love.

I'm so surprised. I really didn't think everything was launching at once. I think I'm getting:

  • Courting Chic lipglass
  • pink nail polish
  • Viva Glam palette
  • Viva Glam bag (maybe)

I'm still thinking about one pressed pigment but I'm unsure which one or if I should get any at all.

This Mac SA had a pink gloss on Instagram but didn't remember the name of it when she was asked. I think she may have layered one of the glosses over the pink lipstick because none of the gloss swatches look that opaque. It looks really pretty. So I still have that at the back of my mind. As far as the blushes. I had no interest in them from swatches so the price is not the biggest deterrent for me. I am just not that wowed by this collection. So surprising. I have bought a lot from every other holiday collection. But who knows, I haven't seen anything in person yet. I said the same thing about Brooke Shields and bought a whole bunch from that collection.

I am glad to see Mac doing new products in their sets like the viva glam palette (although I kind of remember a 3 color Viva Glam palette from an old holiday collection), Viva Glam bag with fairly new products in it, extra dimension eyeshadow sets and split fiber brush sets.

Just saw Temptalia's review of the EDES sets and now I want the brown and plum ones. I really don't need the pencils and mascara though so I'm not sure if it's worth it.

Yes, here's to us feeling better soon! Btw, just as a little tip, definitely try gargling with 1/2 teaspoon of salt with an 8 oz cup of warm water. It's the best remedy for a sore or scratchy throat. It always works like a charm.

I really like that Viva Glam palette...for the convenience of having all the VGs in one place, and for the great cause. I will definitely be getting that...

MAC blushes (chucke,chuckle). The other sneaky thing I noticed recently is that you get about half the amount when buying mineralized blush vs. Regular. And mineralize blushes have been getting smaller over time.! My oldest mineralized blush from quite Cute is .14 oz (4g), now they are as small as .10 oz (3.2 g).[ Holiday is .21 oz per Temptalia] This is versus regular blush which are usually .21 oz (6 g). For comparison NARS is .16 oz (4.8 g). Giving us less product and charging more over time. In some ways this doesn't matter to me as I have never finished a blush. But still, annoying on principle! I also have been eyeing NARS Almeria! Deciding between that and sweet sentiment for the holiday collections. Though I will probably just cave and get both!

To feeling better! And my mother (a nurse) says the same about gargling with warm salt water! The miracle cure, apparently!

Have you ever "slept purchased" before? I have literally looked through email and found confirmations for things I've purchased in the middle of the night -- and didn't even remember! (Okay...so maybe I have a problem...LOL.)

Yep when i was taking a certain sleep medicine. Amazon and Ulta purchases. Even ordered maternity clothes and was no where near pregnant!
