I havent seen the HK Brush Set but i think its unfair to compare it to the full size brushes. We all know that SE brushes are not the same quality. I think that it would be a better comparison to compare past SE brushes or sets to the HK brushes. For example how about the holiday brush set to the hk brush set. (Makes more sense to me.) This is just my 2 cents. Please dont stone me.

Then I called Toronto pro store and was told these will be used like the Fafi bags, they will put your HK purchase in them if you spend $50. I have actually considered doing a phone order from there and pay shipping to get one. The girl was unable to quote me any prices for any of the accessories like the doll and such. She said she hasn't been to update yet. She also said they were kind of like a re-usable fabric grocery bag. But in the pics they look nicer than that to me. Yeah, spent way too much time on this. I'm a little obsessed about this--mmm ya think? OMG, I need to get a real life.

Yeah it is a reusable bag. Alot of stores here in Canada (well I know in Vancouver anyways) are really promoting using reusable bags. Quite a few stores give them to you when you shop or you can buy them for like $1.00 and you get insentives for using them when you shop as well, like extra points when you use them at a grocery store. Heck even Walmart has them to purchase! It's more enviromentally friendly, rather then using plastic

I went to the event & ended up getting:
Fashion Mews l/s
Cute ster l/s
Mimmy l/g
Fast Friends l/g
On the Prowl n/p

I was able to get some Creamteam stuff too, which I was so excited about!
yahoo.gif
I didn't think they would have them out.

Now I want the pink n/p, She loves candy l/g it's so gorgeous! Pretty Baby face powder, maybe Sweet Strawberry l/g & now because of swatches I want Fun & Games bpb. I didn't even pay attention to Fun & Games but the swatches look so pretty!

I do have to say Fast Friends is very sheer but I was expecting that, it looks so pretty over Fashion Mews. So just in case anyone is a little afraid of Fashion Mews alone, maybe try it with Fast Friends over it. I thought it made it much more wearable for me. And Mimmy looks great over Cute ster, they are definitely on the sheer side too, but I actually like that. I can just put them on & go no fuss.

I agree.

I didn't get the Adoring Carmine SE brushes from holiday 2008 but I have collected SE brush sets from previous years and the quality is declining. When I get to see the Hello Kitty brushes on Feb 12, I will be comparing them to the SE bush sets from previous years, not MAC's regular brushes

can you let me know if they do?? i am calling the mac pro store tomorrow in toronto and asking lol. I live in Newfoundland but my bf is going to Toronto next saturday so i am going to call tomorrow and if they do them i am gonna ask can i pre-order what i want and ask can he pick this up for me when he gets there. Think they will do that for me? Anyone from Toronto do this before? My worst nightmare though would be my bf gets there they say oh no we sold out of it and didnt put mine to the side and its sold out online. i would cry

LOL

So would Big Bow work on a Warm PPP? Some swatches look super sheer but at lot of reviewers are saying it's not very sheer? The list is so long I'm trying to cut something but this just looks so pretty....but if it doesn't look pretty on me......

As a matter of fact, if you adore Helium or Kitchmas then I would, sincerely, consider adding Milk to your arsenal.

The texture is lighter and easier to work with than both of the afore mentioned - almost like Shimmertime, texturewise, if you remember that one at all.

IMO -

So I must share a little trick with you all that I learned today during my makeover...
The look was a dark smokey purple eye with a pop of teal in the center.
My ma then grabbed a lip tester brush and dipped it into the glitter liner. Then he went ahead and painted my lid with it. I kept my eye closed while and dried and when it did holy hotness.
The liner gels dried to create a seal on the shadow, all the while causing the glitter to adhere to the eye sans fall out, creasing and flaking. So so hot that I got all the liners after that!

I like doing this with regular MAC glitter as well.

Day two of my On The Prowl mani and no chipping or fading. I HIGHLY suggest a base and top coat with any nail polish as it will help its longevity. Its a very nice creme gray without too much blue.

I have to say I that I LOVE the size of the HK palettes. I mean, loooooove. Its nice and small to carry in your purse or take with you for a mini vacay. I wanted to add a pix to show how well it fits in your hand.

Oh yeah, ummmmm not the best mani on myself but whatevs.

Umm, the return address says New york. I live in Canada though, so I don't think it was from the store here. I have ordered online a few times, maybe that is how?.

If it is available in Germany maybe I could get it over there since I don't live that far from Aachen.

As far as I know the counters here will get the whole HK collection including the brush sets

Just the HK Kouture collection will be exclusive here.
