From the pics, I like the TLCs, but not loving the l/g and l/s much. The eye quads colours are nice, but they appear chalky.
I may get Fun & Games instead of Tahitian Sand. It depends how they swatch on my skin.

Just a quick question. Can the beauty powder be used as a setting powder for my foundation? If not, I'd have so many layers of stuff on my skin - primer, foundation, concealer (sometimes), powder + beauty powder?

I gotta say ladies, I was thoroughly *unimpressed* with the HK Collection. i was at the Launch/presale party and thought to myself "hmm, where have i seen THESE colors before".. They all seem very dupable. SO i walked away with the purse mirror, mirror charm, both the "reflects" pigments (i wanted them anyway) and Kitty Power Glitter liner. I was also REALLy REALLY happy to get the MAC PRO discount.. *NOTE*.. the discount ONLY APPLIES to makeup items, not logo items.. so that was a nice surprise.

I found that the beauty powder would be either to peachy or too pinky to set. Why not get the MAC setting powder? Its translucent. But you can give yourself a chalky look if you use too much..

I called The Bay to put a list of stuff on hold for myself at MAC except the lady at MAC said that they haven't received Hello Kitty yet so they don't know for sure everything that they're getting.. That makes me nervous because she said they were supposed to have it by now!

Alrighty ladies, just took a second look at this collection. So much calmer at my f/s, and I just adore my fav ma there!
These are the items I tested and my thoughts:
Fashion Mews, reminds me a lot of snob with a more purple tinge to it. I actually really liked this on me once I piled on the color so I got this one fo sho.
Strayin- Love this color. Its a very wearable hot pink with great pigmentation but not at all scary looking.
Now the great blush debate, I would like to strike from the records the comment I made about Fun and Games being too orange because it isn't! Once on my skin it was a peachy apricot, quite lovely on my nw15/20 self! Tippy is a bright blue based pink, very dolly looking! Out of the 2 I actually ended up liking Fun & Games more, although I got them both! They are so beautiful with the beauty powders on top!
Lucky Tom rocks and that is all I will say about that! And the deep blue green pigment on the lid + milk in the crease is the hottest smokey eye ever. Girl groove liner in the mix makes this too hot to handle!
I was still not enamored with the lipglasses so I left those alone and since I am not a fan of mac nail lacquers I didn't touch those either.

Am I the only one who is trying to figure out what Nice to be Nice(sheer orange lipglass) is supposed to go with from this collection? What lipstick are we supposed to put it over, haven't found a answer in my head yet.
One more thing, if the lipglasses are a new formula but they are mostly sheer, they had better get ready for them to sit on the counter when they relaunch them without the HK packaging because if I wanted sheer lipgloss unlike plushglass I could purchase a $2 NYX Round Girl gloss or Bonnie Bell.
