MAC - Hello Kitty and Kitty Kouture Discussion Part II

Beautiful friends! Imagine my surprise today when I went to my local Nordie's counter, and they had the testers out for a lot of the collection already! They just rec'd it today and so I was very lucky to see some of it, it definitely puts my mind at ease about what I want and don't want. I saw:
Lucky Tom/Too Dolly Palettes- much smaller than I thought they'd be, but in a good way. For some reason I was picturing them to be larger like one of my old '04 holiday palettes that's laid out in that horizontal fashion. However, the colors were great, but usually the eye products are what I'm attracted to anyways, so no big surprise there. The aqua/green color is pretty - kind of like the Heatherette green (like Adina said I think), mixed with Sky Blue, so more on the blue side for sure. Romping is pretty too, almost duochrome-y!
Glitter liners- I saw the orangey gold one, the goldy-gold one and the pink one. None of them struck my fancy really. But I am planning on the white one.
L/S- I saw Fashion Mews, Strayin, Cute-ster and Most Popular. Despite being a glaze, FM was surprisingly pigmented- I think it will suffice, and that's coming from miss highly-pigmented lips! So yea, it's cute for sure!! Strayin is the most pigmented obv since it's a frost and very pretty. Cute-ster wasn't very pigmented but enough so, kind of like 1N almost? I dunno, but would add a slight hint of nude to your lips if you so desire. Most Popular was a pretty berry lustre, and well, they will all be mine since I asked again and my counter is b2ming for HK, so yay!
Fun & Games - Not so orangey as swatches, really! I compared it to Peaches, it is like the same hue but think 2-3 shades lighter. If you want the coraly orange w/o so much intensity, this will be for you.
Tippy- Reminded me a lot of Dollymix, even the sheen and everything. I didn't compare them directly but I am going to skip b/c I do have DM.
L/G- I saw Nice to be Nice (orange), Mimmy, She Loves Candy, Fast Friends. Nice to be Nice is like popsicle orange. No thanks. Mimmy is pretty- pink and coral, so a yes on that. She Loves Candy- I pre-ordered it but I think I will end up passing, as it is extremely sheer, almost pointless. Fast Friends I really liked, esp. b/c it DOES remind me of Funtabulous in color, although maybe a little different tone, but purple and beautiful.
Popster TLC- pretty coraly pink, quite pigmented for a lip balm if that's your thing.
Tahitian Sand- barely showed up on me (NC20!!), but the girl of course told me that it's not meant to show up much, which may be true, but also kind of pointless. I will have them use it on me at my HK makeover next week, but if it sucks it's off the list!
I also saw the medium makeup bag and plush doll. The makeup bag is cute but I cannot pay $35 for it. The plush doll is smaller than I thought, which makes sense. It is quite dense, meaning I thought it would me smooshy if that makes sense, but it's not really, it's got a lot of filling lol. Cute if you like that sort of thing- better quality than I thought.
Anyways sorry if this is like a lot of rambling, I'm trying to hurry up and get things done today but I wanted to share this all w/ my specktralites!

Nice! I wish it were available in stores already! Seeing the displays today made me very antsy- I think I will be spending more than I thought.
Also, I didn't notice any difference in l/g than normal ones, but I remember reading that the formula was supposed to be different. Anyone?

I purchased some more HK stuff on Nordstrom's website and I was in shock!! I spent 131.91 while I got Lucky Tom, Fun and Games and Tahitian Sand on Ebay (one of the sellers sells authentic items and I keep an eye on authentic items) and I cannot wait to get them soon so that I can post swatches of each product and my huge HK haul!
