When I came home with my MAC bag with Hello Kitty items in it my mother turns to me and says: thats it?! I was expecting a box. LOL

For once my mom didn't chastise me for indulging, and I was good.

However I have a Bendels event tomorrow so we shall see what else I come home with

I've already put in my pre-order and I passed on the eyeshadow palettes.....it seems that reviews have been mixed on these...for those who have seen them, am I missing out if I don't get one? The colors seem pretty, but I just don't know...

HK was just unveiled in Herald Square's Macy's just today -- they were flying off the shelves so quickly that the MAC MUAs had to keep opening new boxes! It was awesome...so awesome that I bought..everything.

between the brush set and the vanity tote. which one should i get. Someone said on youtube that 187 felt like plastic like the actual brush part. which sucks. I know its not as good quality but i still wanted it and now i am not sure though..

I would no to the BPs only because I don't see a purpose for it especially since it doesn't have a lot of color to it even as a highlighter which I personally feel like its too powdery/chalky looking to even be used as one... if you want it for the container and then use it to put a skinfinish for example, then I would say just to get one. The embossing is cute but it's going to get messed up anyways.

I kinda agree. I applied it on my hand today (tahitian sand) it totally disappeared, but in certain lights I could see the slightest sheen. Kinda pointless. Like I said, I'm going to try it at my makeover and see if I like it, but if I want a sheen to my skin, I might as well use Fix+ or a cream blush or msf or something...just my opinion.

^ I say get both if you want to try out the brushes and go store your HK goodies in a vanity case. I just purchased the brush set on nordstrom.com and going to get the vanity case and the medium makeup bag next week. I might get a tote bag but I'm not sure yet.

So I called my MAC store today just to confirm what they said to me earlier AND they said I could only RESERVE 10 items. I can buy more when the collection releases. What a relief. I was like whhhaaa......

Oh ok. Try ordering it online on the 10th if you don't have a MAC store near you. I mostly order MAC cosmetics online and too shy to buy them at a MAC counter or store.
