Ahhh got my goodies! I immediately had to put Red Racer on

I paired it with Cherry lip liner, RR applied with a lip brush. I dabbed a smidgen of Blessedly Rich in the middle of my lips to give some shine. I think I found my Fancy Red! I feel like Snow White lol
I also have Fleet Fast blush on. I can't remember what's on my eyes. I was rushing out the door this morning so slapped on some neutral shades and off I went!

OHhh that is gorgeous on you!! I love it!!!

Went on a coffee run and stopped in at the MAC counter in the nearby mall. I didn't get the coffee, but I did add to my HS haul.

Tried:

Crew: Was as ghastly on my face as it was on my arm. Pass
Red Racer: Too pinky a red for me. Nothing special. Pass
Send Me Sailing: Ehn - it was alright. Just. Pass. (Marilyn here I come)
Riviera Life: Not as great as I expected it to be. Just ok, so I passed.

Jaunty: Doesn't even show on me.
Barefoot: I feel like there are other similar shades I can get without having to pay $19 for special packaging and then depotting. Pass.
Feeling Fresh: Not for me. I love greens but not this one.

Sun Dipped: I didn't need another bronzer. I didn't need another bronzer. But this was PERFECT, I tell you. I'll buy it tomorrow at the MAC store where it's being held for me.
Brush: Coming home with me tomorrow.
Throw Me a Line: Now in my makeup bag. Great orange-toned red. Love it.

Biggest surprise: Fleet Fast. I had no intention of buying this. I swatched it against Peachykeen and they are nothing alike. Oddly, Peachykeen looks more corally (and has more sheen), but swatches much pinker than Fleet Fast. I tried to talk myself out of it, I really did. The three people behind me who also wanted it (the store only got two, I was first in line and one was reserved) clearly would have preferred that I not get it. It definitely pulls more red on me.

Before I passed up on it, I layered Studio Fix NC25 over my N3 Face and Body and lo and behold, it works. (Thanks for the tip, Pinkdollface)!

I think I just need a heavier foundation on my cheeks to tone down the redness. I've tried all the green primers and they don't help. I'll need to stipple Fleet Fast on (just as I do Modern Mandarin) but it was different from anything I have and I liked it so home it came.

NC 20 here, and I love, love, love Sundipped. Perfect bronzer for the PPP, makes it look like you had a touch of sun. No orange or ompa loompa effect on me at all. DO IT.

Did you end up with NoB as well?

Back from MAC

Ended up with Emerald Sea, Handforged, Jaunty, Barefoot, Fleet Fast

and Harmony -- which I couldn't pass up after she showed me how to contour with it.

The only thing I passed on was To Catch A Sailor -- I'm pretty sure I could get a similar look with one of my glosses.

*sighs* I'm not even going to drown you with my Hey Sailor struggles. LMAO It took me soooooo long to get it together. I finally got everything I wanted!

I ordered:
Salute l/s
Sail La Vie l/s
Blessedly Rich l/g
Riviera Life l/g
Orange Tempera l/g

and that is IT! I ordered from a MAC store in Missouri. Even though the three lipglasses I wanted are still on the MAC PRO site, I just don't have the time to wait and stalk the site for a restock of Salute and Sail La Vie. I will post pictures on here and on my blog ASAP.

The regular freestanding stores and counters are getting the collection today, so don't feel bad if the site is sold out of something you wanted.... Just go to your local store or counter. I also got word from PRO that they're going to restock a lot of HS items online, but they said it'll take up to a week. =/ I'm too impatient. haha

Would you say that you enjoy SD more than NoB? I originally put my order in for NoB but changed to SD when I picked it up. I'm pretty certain that I made the right call, but I was just curious what your opinion was since you now own both (and your skin seems to be similar to mine). Thanks!

I would DEFINITELY recommend SD more than NoB! In fact, I suspect that NoB will now sit around and collect dust. More likely, it will make its way into the hands of one of the many young figure skaters I know.

I liked NoB just fine until I saw SD. There's no comparison. SD just melts into my skintone. Me with just the faintest hint of colour. It's very subtle and looks completely natural. It's not as dark as Matte Bronze (I also like this one a lot but use it as blush/contour). I'll use this one all over my face.

There's nothing wrong with NoB; it just doesn't come off as natural. Given that I have three new blushers (other than NoB), I'll probably find a good home for that one.

ok just came back from the mac store. i picked up red racer and nautical navy. funny story, i swatch nautical blue in store and it was just lovely

. i was so happy and it wasnt like what tamptalia describes but when i got home and swatch the one i brought, it was horrible i was getting zero product on my finger. so i took my makeup brush handle and scraped the top. now it swatches beautifully. it also looks great wet. im a NW45 mac

Close enough that I could pass. I also swatched it next to Fresh Flare Prolongwear e/s and they were very close. Fast fleet is gorgeous, but swatched nearly identical to Fleur Power on me so I skipped that one too. Jaunty didn't even show up on my NW15 skin. My counter was sold out of alot by 10:10 this morning... Red Racer Sail la Vie, Crew, Nude on Board and all 3 of the Suntints. My MA said their stock would likely be gone by tomorrow morning.

Ok, so I'm tempted to pick up one of the bronzers since I do not own any (gasp). Which do u guys think will work w my complexion? The MAC foundation I wear is the Matchmaster 7.5

I am not surprised by this. Lip Tints always sell out quickly at the counter I go to. The lipsticks have been in magazines for over a month now. My counter was swamped with people by 10:30 yesterday and they still have their event on Friday and Saturday to deal with.
