Oh no. I didn't know that powerpoints are not waterline safe. What a bummer!!! Has anyone tried them anyway on their waterline? I wanted blue stripe for my waterline.

I haven't tried the powerpoints in the waterline, but I tried very carefully to use Industrial pearlglide under my waterline smudged out, but throughout the day it kicked up into my waterline. I'm a contact lens wearer so that was not so much fun. Irritation City!
I think it solely depends on the person though. I have heard some can use these in the waterline without problems. I think MAC just keeps it on the safe side and cautions to not use them on the waterline - since there are eyes that do get irritated by them.

I'd go with SD because the PLW formula is to die for and gives a really smooth finish. SS is nice too, though SD is definitely easier to blend (which makes it easier for a "bronzer virgin" - if I may call you that). :) Have fun! Bronzers are gorgeous for the warmer weather!
Haha, sounds about right. Unless you count the times I've played around and made myself look like an Oompa loompa :)

Thanks for the advice. I'll be sure to check that one out.

Richelle, both SLV and RR look great on you!!!! Duckrodeo, that lippy combo looks lovely on you. I think if your still on the fence about SLV, you might as well give in and get it. Skippers remorse is no fun.

I use my Tealo pp on my waterline and I've never had any problems. I should add I've used the pearlglides on my waterline as well and haven't had any problems either. Just like duckrodeo said, it depends on the person.

Thanks Duckrodeo. I'm a contact lens wearer also, and my eyes can be rather sensitive. I do think blue stripe is very pretty, and I don't have a navy blue eyeliner. Perhaps there is a navy blue liner that's permanent and also waterline safe.

I don't know if you're specifically looking for a MAC one, but I use NARS Rue Saint-Honore larger than life eyeliner. It's by far the longest wearing eyeliner formula I've found. It's a different look since it has a slight purplish sheen, but it's beautiful. It's also more pigmented than Blue Stripe IMO.

Thanks Kawaiiamaiai. I have never tried the Nars liners. That sounds like just what I'm looking for. I'm going to check online right now.

Can anyone recommend a good red lipliner (any brand) to me that will match Red Racer? I can work the color but it starts to blur around my mouth a little, I have the start of those lovely age-related fine lines there......

I think I need a matching lip liner to keep it fenced in LOL.

Thanks in advance...

I have the Nars rue saint honore pencil waiting in my cart for Nordstroms. The colors are beautiful. What a great recommendation! I'm just waiting to purchase it till Hey sailor comes up........which seems like it's never going to happen.

A juicy tangerine indeed! I have no idea what foundation shade I am, kinda gave up on that! Gosh, I took soooo many different pics and could barely tell the difference between the two. Found only one pic that you could see a slight difference in the two colors. Probably will have to go outside to see a difference.
Pics of Scarlet Ibis vs. Red Racer or SI vs. Sail La Vie? I could totally see how SI and SLV might look really similar on your skin tone, from your photos, though. Hope you can make it work so they don't look too similar!!! I can't wait to get my SLV at my store - Thursday seems so far away!

Yep they're not waterline approved, because they're waterproof. I passed on all of them, but I will say that my one waterproof MAC liner from last year stays put like iron, even through tons of sweat when exercising outside on hot days - so they certainly are good for that.
I've always liked Minted, which is a little bluer than this one. It's a cute color and doesn't clash with my green eyes like some green liners do.

SI and Sail La Vie! No discernible difference. I'll go buy some liners to make sure they don't look too similar. Thursday is practically next week at this point!

The avi is Red Racer!

This is the best I could do lol, Scarlet is on the left and Sail is on the right. I don't see a difference!
Ah whoops, I posted my last comment before I saw your photo here.

Yep they look exactly the same on you. Bummer....unless you wanted a BU of SI!

Still, I think they look really cute on you - but yeah, Red Racer is better than either of them on ya! You make that one look gorgeous!

You can't go wrong with the Pro Longwear red one from this collection. Those PL lip liners are strong like an ox. You can eat and drink all day long and they don't budge - at least on me. They're costly, though, but you only need to apply it once and that's it.

You can also try what I do to cut down on feathering, which is I pat my lipsticks on in a very light coat, and I only bring them into the corners of my mouth via my finger or a brush. Then I let it set up for a minute and do a second heavier coat, but avoiding all the edges. This works well on me with the less creamy formulas, but only if I just wear the lipstick and don't use gloss on top.

I was in a different mall today and asked if I could swatch the new collection. The manager came out and swatched on me. Looks like I'm not done after all - I like Handforged and Throw Me a Line. I also swatched Sun Dipped. While I like Nude on Board, I like this shade even better and I have definitely yellow undertones. I'm going to stick with the one I have, but for those who haven't yet decided, it might be a good idea to swatch at the store even if you have warm undertones.

I almost got that liner but your right, other brands seem to have better liners. There are some lovely MAC liners (like float on by and I get no kick), but as a whole I prefer other brands. I recently bought my first Nars liner and I love it. UD's are my favs, they got an awesome selection and they are so creamy and pigmented. I def want to try TarinaTarantino liners, they are cheaper than UD's which is a bonus! Still think the green liner is pretty.

Just another gentle reminder to please stay to topic now guys. If you have anything to say to anybody please send a pm :) it's not fair on others who just want to enjoy reading about this collection :)

what do you guys think about the green liner? i am still happy i bought it but have decided that it isn't that unique really and i actually prefer urban decay liners and mufe to mac ones :)

On temptalias review of sun dipped she stated this for NC 40 skin tones: " For a soft warm glow, sure, but if you really want to add color, I don't think either is going to do very much :(" Does anyone disagree? Also what lipliner would work with SLV? Thanks!
