Richelle I was obviously thoroughly confused, I thought you were trying to decide whether to buy sail la vie. I didn't realize how close it is to SI! I'll have to try them on myself side by side as you did....they look indistinguishable! The colour looks great on you, so hopefully you're okay w having a backup!

Just placed an order on Riviera Life l/g since the enablement got to me that I must have that lipglass for Sail La Vie l/s! I cannot wait to get it!

It's the most unique color in the whole collection! It's very very yellow orange, but you can pull it off, GlamQueen. It looks great over SLV and it's super opaque so you can wear it on its own so easily. I bet it'll look awesome over Red Racer and Salute too.

It's mega-orange, with no white in it to soften it up, so user beware. There will be some people it's not going to look good on without doctoring it up with a red or coral lip pencil underneath.

I keep forgetting to try those NYX liners! thanks for reminding me! I've heard lots of good things!

I'll have to let you know about the mascara in a couple days today is the first day I tried it. So far I am loving the aqua creams.

Here's a pic of me wearing the Rimmel Kate Moss shade, which I think is similar to Sail La Vie. Zero makeup otherwise (my brushes got a bath today and are drying) and my cystic acne in all its glory lol. Though my lips are naturally red, it seems to look more like a toned down version of Scarlet Ibis. I did MAC prep+prime, then Lasting Sensation liner, blotted then a coat of Rimmel #12:


Still on the fence about Sail La Vie with this in mind. I'm not quite sure if this kind of orange really does me any favors! Of course it's probably my green sweatshirt, plus my skin tone is very uneven without foundation, but it looks very contrasting with my eye color as well

Ok... I'm going to enable... The lippie you're wearing is really pretty... BUT I "think" SLV is brighter (I'm obviously just judging by your pic, as I do not have this lippie from your photo to compare)
AND I "think" that SLV will brighten your face and look gorg! You said you have SI right? Can you post a pic of you wearing that? That might help me more.

And BTW... I would die if I looked HALF that good with no makeup! You are a beauty!!

I use Lasting Sensation l/l with SLV... and it's perfection.

See everyone pairing RL with SLV... I put BR with SLV just dabbed on the center lip area top & bottom and I love that combo too! (It's what I'm wearing with SLV several pages back on my FOTD)

no problem, my favorite colors so far is azure and tropical green the other 2 I have which is pink suede and pure white I haven't really tried yet. They really do glide on I was surprised when I put it on.

I don't know if you're specifically looking for a MAC one, but I use NARS Rue Saint-Honore larger than life eyeliner. It's by far the longest wearing eyeliner formula I've found. It's a different look since it has a slight purplish sheen, but it's beautiful. It's also more pigmented than Blue Stripe IMO.

That 16 pink beige is awesome!! I LOVE how it brightens up my eye. If you got YV from ED collection... It has the same effect.
I really want to try the Purple shade, but I still have Paint Pots from the Posh Paradise collection to go through first.

Hi MAC_ AIKEN, I was hoping you'd pop back up. I responded to one of ur posts where u were boasting about Estee Lauder & I thouhght u meant Lancome...sorry. Lancome had some beautiful LE Artliner's & I really like some of their eye design ES. Sorry for the confusion, but definitely going to check out EL Cyber Eyes!
