I thought Sun Dipped was beautiful and very nice and subtle, but I'm on the fence about getting it, since I have enough LLB to get me through the summer. I'm sort of leaving it to the last minute when I go pick up my things on Thurs. I'm also this close to breaking down and getting the brush - it's really well made.
There seems to be a larger stock of the bronzer - at least there was in the last few years. The brush is a different story though; once it's gone, it's gone.

Do you know the Pro Shaping Powders in Soft Focus and Warm Light? The finish is quite similar to Crew.
I'm really out of the loop with the pro items, since the local pro store is in an area with hideously bad parking, so I never drag myself over. What are they like? Contouring powders or more like the EDSFs, that sort of mold to all the planes of the face and give highlight and depth based on the light reflection?

I have to wait until Wednesday to get a bulk of my haul, and not sure how long it will take SLV to reach me, but so far I am looooving Fleet Fast! It's just the right amount of red to not make my cheeks look too...Snow White-ish lol. In certain lights I could even pick up on the coral tone, too. I wore Whisper of Gilt over it today and it just looked so fab. Gold sheen city! Launch Away gets an honorable mention, too because it's just a good flushed color without being too much. I can forsee me wearing LA more when I do a bold eye or a bold lip, so as not to look too done up!

That makes sense. I think my local Nordstrom gets more than 3 of each item but when I picked up my preorders for Glitter & Ice and Reel Sexy/Tres Cheek/Extra Dimension, a few items were sold out at some point on the first day. Partly due to pre-orders and then limited stock after that.
Blast! Missed double points by a couple of days!

Dang! That takes some will power! I usually can't wait to get home and the first thing I do is rip open the box

Immortal Flower was already pre-sold out when I called to do a pre-sale for it. It was really crazy! I am surprised that nothing I did a pre-sale for this time was sold out like that...even Red Racer was still available (at least, they didn't say it wasn't) before I cancelled it and replaced it with Send Me Sailing...and I both added and cancelled it today...

I am hoping that I like the way SLV looks on me b/c oranges look so good on people when they are the right one (Pixie Dancer)!
You cute Chicken Nugget!! You will look awesome I know it!
I saw in your other post you were asking about Hibiscus and SI dupes... Do you have Hibiscus? Or SI? and want to back them up... or did you not get them?
SLV has been compared to SI a lot. I like SLV better than SI for Spring/Summer.

I've got this old 129SE brush from the days when they were still really high quality, that has a shape like a smaller version of the 167SH - it's perfect for the size of my cheeks for blush and big enough for powder on the go. Meanwhile the 167SH is a bit big for some types of blush application for my face, but would be a superior brush for stuff like careblend powder or Elude. I wonder if it'd do too heavy an application of bronzer or MSFs for me, though...I've got the 131 which is my hands down bronzer fave.

If it was a tiny bit smaller, I wouldn't even hesitate for a second....it's so soft and dense!

Edit: I think I'll bring in an EDSF and if it does well with it, I'll snag it.

I think you'll be happy with the gloss - it's got a really amazing texture- very opaque and wet but not slippery or unusually sticky, plus it has more of a blue undertone, without going full blue-based. Very classic but also stylish and not dowdy.
That's good to hear :). It sounds really great. I do want something that's more RED and less berry (which I usually go for). This sounds like it should fit the bill.

The only weird thing about the gloss (also Riviera Life), was I couldn't do my usual method of putting on a light layer and then a second layer to build it up. When I tried that, it felt almost crumbly. You have to slather on one thick layer right from the get-go. Then, it looks like a stained glass window!

Yup, it's too big for blush, but it works like a charm for bronzers. Haven't tried it with Elude yet, but you are giving me a great idea.

I haven't tried my RL yet... so thanks for the tip Liba!

Ahh, thanks for the tip! I'll do that when I get it :)

I love all the items I got from HS, but my absolute faves are the 167SH, NoB, Soft Sand, Sail la Vie and RL. There is no item that I don't like TBH.

I have Peachykeen, but not Fleet Fast so I can't comment on how close they are. I saw that someone asked T and she said that Peachykeen was lighter and less red. That actually will make it better for me; I have redness in my cheeks to begin with, so I can't really go with deeply pigmented blushes if they have a pink/red tone because it just emphasizes that.

I did swatch Fleet Fast in store, but it was on my hand (all they'd let me do). I didn't think to compare it Peachykeen. I really liked FF; it was a good tone for me. I'm not sure it would be on my face though because of the redness thing. I ended up buying Orgasm instead which is really a stretch for me because of the shimmer. I wouldn't wear it to work and it's really just a summer weekend casual blush for me, but the colour was divine and I really don't need much to get a flush (so hopefully I won't get too sparkly).
i think a couple of pages back mac-guy described a technique for neutralizing redness, maybe you can try that under reddish blushes?

Does anyone have both the new 167 & the one that came in the holiday set? just wondering how they compare. I know typically the sets aren't as nice as the standard full size brushes, but occasionally they do a set brush that is almost comparable to the full size. Thanks!

I'm wearing Red Racer with Redd lipliner today instead of Cherry lipliner (i will take a picture when my camera is charged). I definitely prefer Redd lipliner, it gives RR even more of a summer vibe. I have 4 red lippies now and Red Racer and Scarlet Ibis are my spring/summer reds and Russian Red and Runaway Red are my fall/winter ones.

I'm starting to obsess over Fleet Fast, which I didn't get in Haul #1.

Is it a darker version of Stunner? I love the hue of Stunner but it just doesn't show up on me well. If it's too red though I don't want it.
This might be something I need to swatch in the store...

I got my black box yesterday and the little temporary tatoos are pretty cute. I am sure I will just save them though. If Fleet Fast is said to be like Peachy Keen, I am good with skipping it, since I didn't love PK. Now, someone just anti-enable me on Launch Away. I have hauled twice and I need to stop. I can't promise I won't go back for Au Rose lip tint if it doesn't sell out before I get more funds. Oddly, my last minute purchase of the green powerpoint maybe my favorite of the collection. Thanks, Liba, for pointing out its' uniqueness. That being said, I think I am going to love both bronzers. I have not tried anything mind you, I am still in the "admiring all the prettiness" phaze.

Okay, I got two hauls yesterday so I can share a few thoughts now.

Red Racer: Love! It's very bright on me but completely gorgeous. I can also tone it down if I put a tendertone under it. I think I have more neutral skin than cool skin, and it looks lovely on me. I can't wait to try it with Send Me Sailing tomorrow. I would consider it to be more wearable than a lot of my reds.

Sail La Vie: I love this one too! It's gorgeous, and while obviously orange-red on me instead of red-orange, it suits me and brightens my whole face. I think everyone should at least try this one to see how they like it.

Crew: A gorgeous peachy highlight/blush on my fair skin. It shows up more peach than pink on me right now, but makes my skin look amazing and will be a great subtle blush. If I go very lightly I can use it as just a highlight with a darker blush.

Launch Away: I think this is definitely a sleeper, as it's lovely. It shows up the way I wanted Immortal Flower to look and it looks very natural on me. I'm very glad I picked this up, though I'm not sure how unique it is.

Au Rose: It's fine. I prefer tendertones, but I like this for when I want to go walking or I'll be in the sun for a while. The pink does show up a bit on my lips, but it's mainly gold glitter.

I haven't tried Feeling Fresh yet, but I will very soon! I also get Fast Fleet, Riviera Life, and Send Me Sailing this week.
