Don't tell me if you can make Salute work. After I anti-enabled myself, I don't want to go searching for it. If it is anything like Peachstock, it will be HIDEOUS on me. The packaging is so cute on the Sail La Vie, I am trying not to get anymore lipsticks, but the special packaging is so hard to resist. I only skip the nude and the red because I have gazillions of those already. The number of nudes in my current stash is ridiculous. And half of them make me look either like a crack head or a zombie.

LOOOL! I'm sorry to deliver the bad news. But, Salute looks gorgeous with L'Oreal Color Riche gloss in Baby Blossom. It evens out the texture of the lipstick.

Does anyone know how Barefoot compares to Honeylust (beside the finish differences & the fact that HL has major fallout)? T mentioned that Nautical Navy PG (i think that is the name of the piggy) looks very similar to Blue Storm. Is this true? Has anyone bought and compared both? There was another comparison of Lunar from the ED collx to the Navy blue ES from this collx any thoughts on this??? I haven't heard a whole lot about y'alls experiences with the piggies? Thoughts? Reactions? Need some help here, a I don't want to have a lot of the same colors...waste of $, etc. Thanks in advance.

In case you are still wondering, Naval and Blue Storm are identical. I compared them both at the pro store when Blue Storm was released with Fall Color

 SPANKY!! in the surf baby thread it was mention that a dupe for hibiscus was Sheen supreme korean candy for some. since i have both i did this swatches.  maybelline Coral Crush, SS Korean Candy, Hibiscus, Watch Me Simmer H is a similar to  WMS but you can see the Orange in H more than WMS  KC is really similar but its way more Orange next to each other you can see the pink/red undertones of H the maybelline CC is way more pink and its more of a close dupe for WMS  in here you can see how the flash picks up the pink in Hibiscus compare to the Orange in KC *hope this helps someone

Of course the Vera's will suffice (well, at least until the Next Best Thing is launched). When they arrive, you'll have fun playing with them and figuring out how to work them into different looks. They sound great - I'm looking forward to receiving mine.

Also, I'm worried about my order that I placed with Crew Highlighter and Januty e/s since MAC didn't charge me for Jaunuty e/s and worried that I will not get it tomorrow and will only get Crew Highlighter so I ordered Jaunty e/s on Nordstrom's website in case.

Hi everyone! I normally don't post all that much but I wanted to let everyone who was planning on going to the counters on thursday that they should check to see if their counter or store is LAUNCHING on WEDNESDAY instead. I went in today to do a presale at my local MAC store and the girl told me that BOTH NORDSTROMS and MAC will be launching the collection tomorrow. I think it's because Nordstroms half yearly sale is starting on Wednesday. Hope this helps those who missed out on the online launch.

Thanks for posting that. I can stop obsessing about tracking RR down. I never got the low down on if it is THAT different from MAC Red or not.
Don't tell me that--I am already regretting skipping the blush. I caved & got both bronzers, I love Sun Dipped.

YW... It is just my opinion, and I do see the yellow in RR, BUT, I wouldn't fret about not getting it if you have a lot of reds. And we have the lustre coming out with Heavenly creatures. I know that is easier said than done. I STILL want to see Party Parrot and Flamingo on me. I don't care how many dupes/swatches I find. LOL

here is a swatch of Red Racer, Runaway Red, Kanga Rouge, and Viva Glam. They aren't exact, RRacer is brighter. But I personally don't think I need both, and like KR much better. But it is a pretty red.
I'll try to get you a side by side later.

Glam, when did you place your order with Jaunty? I placed my order early afternoon last Weds (Thurs? Idk...the first day of the MAC US site launch)....I received an e-mail from MAC customer service stating that Jaunty would be charged separately because of some error. At first I was confused and a little irritated because my shipping notification included the eyeshadow, but I read it again and the e-mail didn't mention Jaunty was back-ordered or unable to be shipped to me, just that it would show up as a separate charge from MAC on my account..

I haven't gotten my shipping notice yet, but my items usually show up before I do. If I had to hazard a guess, I'd say they'll arrive Thursday (possibly even tomorrow). The warehouse is nearby.

I didn't order RR; I will take a look at it in store. One of the MUAs in the freestanding store I walk past (on the direct path to my office) actually stepped out of the store today to intercept me and ask if I was wearing Sail La Vie. It's pretty bad when they see me and KNOW I'm wearing a new product. I mentioned that I only ordered it online because they always sell out quickly when she said to just let her know when I want a LE item and she'll put it aside. Anytime.

I had no idea they'd do that, and I certainly never asked. Anyway, she's now pulled a couple of items for me and said it was fine if I don't want them when I see them. How nice is THAT?! You do realize that the odds of me NOT getting Sun Dipped are now roughly zero.

aelic Gold and Barefoot are almost indistinguishable. I wore Barefoot today and thought it had a green tint to it. I don't really remember that with Gaelic Gold but I haven't worn that one in a while. I thought Barefoot might be like Henna but it really isn't. Henna is an olive color. Barefoot is definitely gold.

I wore my Hey Sailor stuff today. I tried Sun Dipped again. I still wasn't diggin' it. I went for the dior bronzer I just bought - just dusted all over Sun Dipped. I wore Crew as well. I know yesterday I said it looked like a white highlighter on me. Oops. Today it is definitely looking pink. I did use a different brush today (#189). I like it but I don't know if I like it with Fleet Fast blush. It just kind of blended all together. But maybe it's supposed to?? I don't know. But I like it and will try it with more blush colors. On eyes: Barefoot on lid, Henna in the outer V and Jaunty as a highlight. Definitely Feline(bronze) Superslick liquid eye liner on upper lashline, Emerald Sea on lower lashline, Dior coral pink lipstick. I got a compliment on the look today.

thanks for all the swatches! i didn't realize tarnish was so greenish (so close to mystery)! do you think that's just from the lighting, or are they close to dupes?
i have henna, but not gaelic gold or for that matter gorgeous gold, so i probably won't be repeating anything i already have with barefoot...

I got an e-mail from MAC about my order of Jaunty e/s and here is what they said:

I was so worried that I might not get Jaunty e/s tomorrow and so I ordered Jaunty off of Nordstrom's website in case I don't get it tomorrow. This is the first time that has ever happened to me.

I got that same email. I like how they act like they are doing you a favor when its fault they didnt charge you in the first place. I won't get my stuff until Friday because I'm going out ot town tomorrow. It better be in my box!
