Lol... so I called Nordstrom, and they put me through to customer service... The rep I talked to said that in their computer, it's showing that the order is 'processing' - meaning that they've taken my money, but they have not yet pulled it, nor do the girls at the counter even have the information that they are supposed to pull it for me!
So I asked her if it would help if she connected me with the counter so I could tell them that I placed an order and they should pull one for me, and explained how I was worried that before they get the info to pull my product, they'll sell the items from the sales floor. I asked her if, hypothetically, there was one left, and the MA went to ring it up, would the computer show that there's a 'hold' on it for me? The rep just said 'oh, I sincerely doubt that it'll be the last one, but I can check the inventory for you.'
So while she's looking for the item in the computer, I tell her how I don't mean to be crazy about this or anything, but how this item sold out in two hours on the MAC site - and she just kind of blew it off! Like didn't respond at ALL to that, was just like 'ok, so what was the color again?'
And then she finally found their inventory level and found that they have NONE. ZERO!
She said that they have a lot across the country though, so if they can't fill the order in their store for me, they'll ship it to me.
So. SO annoyed.
Edit: Hahaha.. and NOW I get the confirmation email that they are at least working on my order. Ohhh man. After this madness, going back to studying Contracts and Property for the rest of the day actually sounds enjoyable!
