Hope this doesn't get lost in SR madness, but does anyone else know how NARS Roman Holiday compares to I like it like that lipstick?

And NARS Barbarella to Jazzed?

I hope I'm allowed to do this, but somebody at LJ posted comparison pictures of Stereo Rose from both releases. To me, it's obvious that they're different.

That's even better. Get the guys to work! My DH wouldn't hesitate to do it for me either. He doesn't like it when I cry. He says one day he'll man up and not be my fool. Ha! He's too funny. Anyway, I hope we all get our goodies. I have two SR (one for me and my friend) and a Jazzed lipstick on hold as well. My counter is good about holding so I'm going to call in the morning to make sure they still have my stuff on hold...if so, then it's sweet sailing. If I can more I will for anyone who wants it here as well. I'll let you guys know.

I can't believe I've spent the better part of my day on here thinking and talking about this. It's been a pleasure chatting with you guys, but it's frightening how obsessive this can make me.

I already have one coming from someone sweet enough to pick one up for me, but the need for a second is horrible. It's because I know we won't see this appear again until 2012 or longer.

Can you imagine if they re-released Pleasureflush? Their system would crash within minutes!

Nordstoms cancelled my order for Stereo Rose yesterday. I went to my local store and they had the display out, but the girl said they didn't get any SR in. So I picked up Petticoat, Go For It ls and Chillin. She said they only received four Petticoats. I'm going to the MAC store first thing in the a.m.

ESR is definately straight up lavender, where GC is pink with visible lavender to it. they're different, but as close as you're gonna get to each other right now.

I hope you get them...I went there for a vacation from Vancouver and called and specifically asked them to hold a zuca for me....when i got there i went right away to pick it up and they sold it!!!! They were sold out and had no more.

Needless to say I gave one of my customers $$ to grab me one when he went....would've paid to see the big burly dude carrying a mac zuca around....... lmao now the stupid wheels are defective.......

That store is a jinx for me. Hopefully you have better luck!!!!!

Anybody have I Like It Like That and feeling the urge to show it off? I can't get a good idea of what this is going to look like on based on the swatches..if it isn't wonderful, I think I'm just going to cancel my order and just forget about the supposed two week wait for SR.

So, I saw the Temptalia photo of the lippie... I don't love it (or maybe its just too cool for her skin tone or something). I tried to call and cancel it just now and the woman said that although my order is still pending on the site and I haven't received a shipment notice, it actually went out today. The rep did say that SR is coming in next week and they'll ship it then..hmm.

Scroll down on this page and you'll see Temptalia wearing all of them. It's beautiful. I think I'm gonna get it tomorrow.

MAC In the Groove Collection – Lipsticks Review, Photos, Swatches

I would also like to see some lip swatches of I Like It Like That l/s. It is the only lipstick from the collection that caught my eye.

I am headed to the Macy's counter tomorrow. I have to go over my lunch hour and hopefully there is a Stereo Rose left. If not, I'm just going to pretend that it would be too orange on me and forget about it.

All this crazy DRAMA with MAC online is too much for me.

I usually would order from the web since it is kind of a pain to make it to the counter, but I knew something like this was bound to happen (I missed out on Marine Life this way too). And the sad thing is that they are popping up on Ebay already. There has to be a better way to update the quantities on the website as people order.

Hopefully these last couple of launches where this has happened will allow MAC to make some changes. And hopefully all the calls flooding CS about this sort of snafu, puts the CS workers on the horn with us as well.

I am already feeling panicked about the Feline/Viva Glam launch, since I'll be traveling for work the week the collection launches and will have to order online. <sigh>

All the frantic rushing to get the OMG limited stuff is starting to wear on me too. This LE madness seems like it will have to die down sometime...right???

Anyway, I really hope everyone who wants Stereo Rose is able to get it. At cost.
