Do you think band of roses is anything like the solid sides from love rock and grand duo? Ugh, i'm gonna stop now. i'm not getting any blushes from this collection. I have all the grand duo's, the perm mineralized blushes and other non mineralized LE + perm blushes. i have to stop buying cheek products! I have enough blush to powder every single man, woman and child that lives in Europe, heck i could probably blush their pets as well.

Guys I'm getting all weird about Petticoat...I had it a long time ago but ended up selling it b/c I didn't use it a lot. But now I'm thinking I might want it again! Considering it's s/o on MAC's site I'd have to act quick on Nordie's site...is it a good MSF? I can't remember...

Nope, they are not similar.
U can safely get Band OfRoses...I've love rock and grand duo and they look similar to Band of Roses. The solid side of Love rock is slightly more shimmery than the pink side of Band of Roses

Yep, & I would add, that Love Rock is more of a brighter slight violet tone pink pink, & Grand Duo is more on the plummy side. And, both of the above is waaay more shimmery than BOR

Okay so what about Hang Loose? lol Anything similar to it swatch wise?
It looks like Azalea Blossom when swatched but I could be wrong. It looks like a soft muted lavender pink.
Happy Together is really gorgeous too! A new MUA @ my counter did a look on me using HT and it's such a pretty light bronzey peachy color. Perfect for everyday!
I honestly think ALL theses blushes are worth it.
Anyone get A Little Bit Of Sunshine? How INTENSE is it? And what does it compare to?

LOL, I was getting all hurt because Jazzed was sold out, then I looked and saw I have TONS of coral lippies and these LE are like buses in London--if I miss one another brightly colored one will come along soon and get my attention

I picked up New Vibe at the Mac store yesterday, and I LOVE it!! Its so beautiful!! I don't have anything like it!! Then all the talk about Band of Roses, & Go for it, I just couldn't resist placing another order for them last night!! I can't wait to get them!!
My husband about killed me though after he found out that I bought MORE Mac, after purchasing the entire A & O collection with the exception of Military n/l, plus SR. This has got to be it for me! You evil enablers!

Stereo Rose is lovely and now I see what all of the hype is about. I'M NC45/50 for reference and it gives me a nice glow. It is unlike any of the MSF's I own and now I have 21 of these babies!
I tried it with the 182 kabuki brush last night but I also plan to use it with the 188 and maybe the 227 brush.
Band of Roses is JUST GORGEOUS! I'm thinking about backing this one up but we'll see.
I had a gift card from Nordstrom's since I planned to get my Stereo Rose from there but they presold all of them! How could they do that?
Anyway, since I am on a pink kick right now I also picked up the Gaga Viva Glam at Nordies and I really like it. It's beautiful!
But Go For It, in my humble opinion, is the star of the show. I'm 46 and yeah, I'm rocking a purple lippie at work today!
I got my sister to B2M for her GFI as well and it looks awesome on her! She's a C6 in Studio Fix and I usually wear C7.
I hooked GFI with Vino lip pencil and Foolishly Fab l/g. I used the Eccentricity e/s from CC and a bit of Shadowy lady e/s, So Ceylon and Perfect Topping MSF's plus Plum Foolery Blush.

Some people say it's too metallic, but I'm in love with mine. It's definitely got a 'sheen' to it, but I think it just makes me look polished. (And not a sheen in a gross way - I have oily skin, so I usually hate stuff that adds too much 'glow' - Petticoat is just perfecto, not too much, but enough to have a very, very pretty finish.)

Bi-tone on me is a bit more shimmery than some of my MB's, but the coppery-gold mixed with the plummy shade is what makes it unique imo. It ends up becoming a plummy/raspberry type colour with a bit of bronze to it. Really a unique colour.
And I also think the hype for Band of Roses is well deserved, such a happy pretty colour that would suit most skin tones.

I think so too. Marine Life is gorgeous, and I much prefer the finish over the MSF's.

Personally, I find it far too metallic, but it's a nice colour.
And for those of you considering New Vibe, I don't have it, but do have Bi-Tone. I agree that they look identical, and have no desire whatsoever to get New Vibe. Bi-tone on me is a bit more shimmery than some of my MB's, but the coppery-gold mixed with the plummy shade is what makes it unique imo. It ends up becoming a plummy/raspberry type colour with a bit of bronze to it. Really a unique colour.

I did not care for LBOS at all - but then I'm more drawn to cooler-toned blushes.....I think you could get away with a good bronzer, or bronzier MSFs. To me it doesn't even come close to how gorgeous and unique the others are, but that's just my opinion. I bought all of the others.
