When I did a couple CP's for people this morning I took at look at the collection. I first told the MUA that greeted me that I wasnt looking for SR

. She laughed and said that it was crazy yesterday but it took an hour to sell out. I didnt think to ask how many they had till I left the store. They may have had a lot if it took an hour. Anyway I looked at the l/s and really none could I wear but maybe Jazzed. I remember someone.....maybe Elegant looking for it. I tried it and liked it and ended up getting it along with Hover liner. I was wondering if anyone would want Jazzed? I shouldnt have gotten it and would rather have one of the l/s from Dare to Wear.

I swatched the blushes and the MUA told me she didnt think Band of Roses would be good for my skin tone New Vibe was better. I have Grand Duos which I think is almost the same.

I went to the mall today looking for a kabuki, wanted to get my first Chanel and YSL lipsticks and Comfort and Comfort was sold out and the only MSF left was Petticoat. So, I ended up getting a MES in Soften the Mood because the last two times I went to MAC it kept staring at me. Me likey a lot. This time I went to the MAC counter at Newport Mall in Jersey City, NJ (terrible btw - never again). Everything was out except Petticoat and 6 of the MES was left. I was whoa. I said I was going to return Jazzed, but I just couldn't so I'm going to try again.

I've still got my eye on a backup of Call My Bluff. People are sleeping on that one, so I believe it'll be in my hands soon.

Jazzed and I like It Like That are my fav lippies in this collection. So wearable even if they are light in pigmentation. They go nicely with the cremesheen glasses which I am sure was the intention. MAC executed this pretty well I must say.

Shontay, baby girl I don't care what you say. That lippe ROCKS on you! I love it. In fact, this is a lot more appealing than the pic I had seen of you wearing the dazzleglass creme gloss from Alice + Olivia.

Thanks. I kept it on for a while after taking that picture and I started to like it more and more. The Alice and Olivia gloss looks much better in person to be honest, though. It's weird b/c my top lip is more pigmented than my bottom, but the color of that gloss is so much stronger on my top lip

When the MUA talked me into it (more like beat me into submission), she said to wear it with red lips. I'm so bad at layering lip products, but I'll try that. I think it would be pretty. I kinda regret buying it, though b/c I know I won't wear it that much, but I really hate returning stuff. So glad I bought Chill cremesheen, though and it rocks over Go For It.

I am sure it does. It just looked like a popsicle or snow cone stain that frosted on your lips

But THIS ONE IS............

The cremesheens GLOSSES rock, ALL OF THEM! You should get them all bc an MUA showed me the different ways you can layer these puppies with lipsticks or other glosses and the outcome was DIVINE!

I was so happy and surprised to have received part of my haul today! Apparently the MAC I ordered from uses FedEx

On my cheeks is MAC Love Joy and Petticoat (still can't bring myself to like this MSF) and on my lips is I Like It Like That.

I promise it doesn't look so washed out in person. Darn camera!

Please excuse the eyebrow hairs that are out of order in this pic!

I was looking at On The Scene. I might just get that one. I'm skipping the pink ones, though. I was in a pink frenzy, before the purple frenzy, which was before my current coral frenzy, all of which came after my red frenzy

. So, I'm kinda exhausted with the pink lips, but On The Scene looks pretty nice and I already have You've Got It, which I LOVE.

Aw, man. I just finished typing about how I'm tired of pink. Why, why why??? I might as well give in. You look great by the way and I sympathize with brow problems b/c I'm starting to grow mine out now after too much plucking. They are a mess.

Now when I pick up Digi Pops next week, I'll check out I Like It Like That

What is on your eyes? I love it!
I was going to get Petticoat but tbh, I am not much of an MSF fan and I don't get the obsession over it (don't kill me). I mean, yes some colors are pretty but it just seems useless to me. I rather buy blushes to do the job than some frosty colored pore maximizing product. Petticoat looked like a muted cranberry color on me and I don't like those types of colors on my eyes let alone cheeks. So I passed. But Stereo Rose turned out to be quite nice. Now I have SR and Warmed in my MSF collection. lol

I kind of lost you @ pink frenzy but OTS is so effin orgasmic! The MUA said to top off pink lippies with OTS. You could do a lot with it.
You've Got It surprised me, bc it was dark, it looked intimidating and I thought maybe it would look better on dark skin tones but no ma'am, this puppy was a lil stinker and it looked amazing as a subdued neutral lippie. You don't even need the lipstick that went with this. Nope!

MSF's are alluring b/c they are all sparkly and come in big packaging. Some, like Petticoat are really pretty, but I tried Stereo Rose and I wasn't impressed. It just looked like I fell into a pile of fairy dust. I prefer more matte or satin blushes.

Thank you! I'm always so nervous about posting my face. On my eyes is Mancatcher, Violet pigment, Smut and Carbon - Solar White for highlight. I'm just now getting into lippies (what have I been thinking?). Although the camera isn't quite capturing it right, it feels so bright. I've never worn such a color on my lips.

I actually like the way it looks IRL, although I must admit without forums like this I never would have even dreamed of putting anything other dark berry colors and browns on my lips!

Oooh, noooo honey we can do way more than berries and browns

. Bright colors were made for us. If I can suggest a personal favorite...Pink Poodle lipglass by Mac. It's fantastic.

I'm still trying to find the courage to wear GAT out in public and I want Up The Amp so badly!

What liner (if any) would you suggest for this lip?

I also received Call My Bluff, You've Got it and SR today.

Waiting for Jazzed, Go For It and Chillin to arrive (now rescheduled for TUESDAY

) I'll wait til I get Jazzed to try out SR on my cheeks. Might wear Call My Bluff tomorrow.

You need Up The Amp. That's another favorite. I'm not crazy about Girl About Town, but that's just a color preference.

I know a lot of people do magenta lip liner with GAT, Pink Poodle and Up The Amp. To venture outside of Mac, Make Up For Ever has awesome liners called aqua lips. They have a hot pink shade. I own several liners, but I never use them. I try, but...I fail.

I think Stereo Rose will be quite nice on you. On my complexion it didn't look like much of anything, but on you the color should really show nicely.

Oh and another suggestion: I love, love love Viva Glam Cyndi lipstick. So gorgeous and wearable.
