this is the collection that is exciting me most out of all the up and coming ones - msf's are a love of mine.... the alice and olivia collection comes in at a close second though!

^me too! Mineralize products in general make me drool. I'm definitely getting Stereo Rose, By Candlelight, Petticoat, at least one MB, a couple of MES, etc.

Okay, I see what all the fuss over Stereo Rose is about.

I bought it off my sister and was like "Whoa! This is super bright!" but once I put it on and blended it out, it was really pretty. I actually looked like I had cheekbones! I'm still unsure if I'd use it for every day, but it's fantastic for the stage.

Just Stereo Rose for me. I recently bought Petticoat and By Candlelight, so no need for those again!

My MAC @ Macy's SAs went to NYC last week to see review the upcoming collections. I was only interested in hearing about the mineralized e/s form this collection. I checked back with one of them & they said that the mineralized e/s are very smooth, satiny & pigmented (think Sorcery & Fresh Mix), but none of the colors are glittery which makes them highly wearable for daytime. I'm thrilled to hear this as I love Sorcery, but hated that silver glitter half that reminded my of Forgery. I couldn't justify buying a e/s to use only 1/2 of it (only on occasion because of the boldness of the color) when I already have a bunch of teals (Aphrodisiac, Electric Eel, Cool Heat, Teal pigment, & on & on. lol!) There are 5 from this collection that I can't wait to see, but I think for sure 2 are gonna have my name on them.

I didn't get specifics about the mineralized blushes because there was only so much she could remember. Will check back with another SA shortly. Personally, I believe they are going to be similar in texture, glitter, etc. to Moon River, Love Rock, Grand Duo since she didn't recall anything outstanding about the formulation. So, although I love blue-pink & pookie pink blushes, I'm just gonna have to wait until we have swatches & I see them in person to see if I love any of these colors as much as I love Love Rock; which for me is gonna be pretty hard to top. Also, looking forward to checking out that blue-pink mineralized blush w/ the currently unknown date.

^ The images didn't come up here either.
Her image hosting site is having a problem?
Hope they will come back soon.

I could have sworn erine posted that only 2 of them have shimmer or maybe glitter (?) and the others are really nice and smooth, but I can't find the post now.

Maybe I was just dreaming because I really like the looks of the colors in Band of Roses. Anyway, erine's swatches don't make that one or several others look glittery at all.

i did say that. only 2 of the blushes had a "glitterier" side, but the rest were smooth and sheeny.

If I want a product that hasn't been on my list before, I must cut another for it. Sad, but true

But this way I can get clothes, shoes, purses or nailpolishes as well without feeling too bad.

This is excellent advice that I should really heed once the summer has ended. Very, very smart. I have been spoiling myself the last couple months because I was on a no-buy for a couple years that was pretty much successful. I purchased only essentials like foundation, mascara, powder, and lipgloss. I would sneak in eyeshadow only when I completely ran out of one pallette and/or pot. Since my no-buy ended, I've allowed myself a lack of self-control. But your post reminded me that it may be time to rein myself in!

And now, thanks to Erin's above comment, I can't wait to swatch the mineralize blushes. Smooth and sheeny rather than glittery sounds lovely.

It seems they come and go. Saving the image to my hard drive now, so I have it in case they disappear again.

I want to know how similar Jazzed l/s is to Ever Hip.
Descriptions from MAC:
Jazzed - Bright Coral Pink
Ever Hip - Light Coral Pink

From Erine's swatches, they look VERY similar, and they're both cremesheens. I'm planning to get Ever Hip, but if Jazzed is a better version of it, then i want to wait. Erine, any thoughts on this?
