MAC - In the Groove Discussion

i'm an nc20, and petticoat is definitely not too dark for me. i wear it as a highlight and it gives a BEAUTIFUL polished look. in fact, i rarely use it (o my blonde msf) because i love i so much and don't want to run out! not that i ever will.. these things last forever...

i'm looking forward to stero rose as well. i already have by candlelight (i've used it once so far - worked well as a highlight that gave more of a 'glow' than most of my other msfs), and i'm not interested in comfort (too dark for me!).

Hey, I do the same thing! I got to pick out my Perfect Topping like that. Now I just wish I got one with more lavender veining, but oh well! I can't wait to pick out my Stereo Rose... and get wooed by By Candlelight and maybe even a very lightly-veined Petticoat!

^ I have two Perfect Toppings. Both were ordered online. The first one I got is totally covered with pink and lavender. After impressed by the first one, I ordered the second one which has noticeably more cream color. They are both very pretty.

MSF is love.

at first i was dissapointed with my perfect topping because i wanted lots of lavender and pink but mine is mainly cream... but i now prefer it this way so that i can use it as a highlighter! and it looks awesome!

I came too late to the party for Perfect Topping, but it sounds gorgeous! Hopefully they'll re-release it at some point

I was at my local counter today & saw that they still had a tester out for By Candlelight, so I asked about it & she checked their stock, but they didn't have anymore for sale. Darn! I was hoping to get some of my In The Groove shopping out of the way, but oh well. It's officially moved to my "need-to-buy" list, though! Such a pretty color.

I don't know about the pro site, but for the normal MAC site it's usually readily available two days before (so July 6th online, in stores/on counters July 8th), though it'll probably pop up on the site late July 5th if you use the search function.

I really hope so, I saw PT at the MAC counter in Barbados, last summer...I wish i'd have bought it then and there.

I do that but I hate asking for it. They never understand what I am talking about and think I am nuts. I used to just walk up to a shelf and pick one out but they hide them away now. sneaky snakes! hehe

awwww they shouldn't make you feel bad for asking to pick out your own msf! they should realise they're all different so you want the one with whatever veining appeals to you most!

We got Perfect Topping for free at the last MAC Warehouse sale if you left around lunchtime on the Friday (1st day of the sale). Mine is mostly dark with very little cream colour. I hate it on me

I have a lightscapade dupe - it looks bleh on me too.

I sold my used Stereo Rose in my sale thread about a month ago. I'm planning on getting it brand new with this collection.

I'm slowly starting to get excited for this collection. I only have one msf (Light Flush) and i really like it. I keep asking myself why i didn't get By Candlelight with Warm & Cozy, so i'm really happy it is repromoted. The other things i want are Petticoat and of course Stereo Rose

But i hope this collection doesn't come out the end of July or the first days of August, because i am on vacation then and Stereo Rose will sell out really fast. Please MAC don't do that to me
