Sorry, I should have added that the pictures were taken with flash (as it's now evening here), so take that into consideration. It's definitely not glittery, but more shimmery, however less so than some of the mineralized blushes/MSFs (like Petticoat). I don't own Deep Throat, but Orgasm is definitely more glittery than Stereo Rose (less metallic though). I do find that Stereo Rose gives a nice glow rather than frost. |

Hi everyone, I went back to look at the collection again...and to cancel my presale...I just wasn't that enthused enough for the lipgloss.
I also swatched a couple of l/s which I will post separately, and I have to take back what I said about Jazzed being like Illamasqua's Scandal. Scandal has a lot more pink to it and Jazzed is straight up peach imo...
And I wanted to add, I did get a chance to see blushes this time. Nothing I want to get but they were very pretty.The dark rose/mauvey berry one was lovely but too dark for my NC20 skin...same with the bronzer. And the other one was more of a highlighter (lavender+pink)...pretty, kinda frosty ...definitely not something I need tho.

To illustrate what I mean about the veining...I have terrible lighting here, but it gets the point across anyway
My petticoat has a huge raspberry vein through it and if I swatch just that, it's basically reddish! The rest of the msf is a pinkish duochrome lol...when I photograph it, it looks warm toned because of the lighting + the second tone in it which is almost a rosey coral. Still, it shows the variance in color in this particular petticoat msf. I saw one in store today that did not have such a huge vein through it and it was far more of the pink duochrome/metallic stuff...
No two MSF's are alike imo.

Orgasm on the other hand, I know people say it has a lot of shimmer lol (you are not the only to say that) ...but on me it really doesn't? strange. I dislike a lot of Nars blushes precisely because of the glitter and didn't have that issue with Orgasm

I have to just think it's because they vary...because the one I swatched (Stereo Rose) in store was definitely frosty/glittery. I even looked at it again outside to make sure it wasn't the lighting in store. UK Ladies, I just did an item search on the mac site just now and so far been able to locate 'Go For It' and the Mineralize Blushes - but know apparent changes on website yet, so I assume by midday I assume everything will go live
no MSFs as yet!

Unfortunately for me I have a lot less money than I thought I would, so I can't get anything right now

I headed to my MAC counter this morning and all I got was Petticoat MSF - I was their first customer. I was pretty dissapointed with the collection and didn't like the swatches of the products I thought I would buy =(. This is my first MSF, wanted to see if they're worth the hype.. I didn't like Stereo Rose at all... I hope Venemous Villains will be better.

I couldn't wait! I was like "mum...you know how you lovee me?" and she took me to the metro to get my stuff, I also had all the MAC girls swooning over my puppy, it was so sweet he loved it...the boy is proud of his bits! always rolling on his belly.
How much did you girls (exculding shipping) spend on this collection? £66.50 was my total, I got Petticoat, Stereo Rose, Style Influencer (It got me, it was pretty!) and rather than Jazzed lipstick I got Impassioned.

I only picked up Stereo rose MSF, so I only spent £19.50. I am so proud of myself lol.
I will probably visit my local counter at the weekend but just to have a swatch as my bday is coming up this month so I will get more goodies for free then
